When we book a wedding, we first connect with the bride and groom and make sure that we know precisely how they envision their wedding day going. After all, it's their day, and it's a day that happens to have - even the ones that go smoothly - a lot of pressure leading up to it.

We paid Rick upfront in full, once the pandemic hit and we had to reduce our usage of him from 6 hours to 1, we asked him to work with us on a partial refund and he never responded, often ignoring my fiancé's texts and calls. He scheduled a call before the wedding and wasn't prepared, calling it a "nerd wedding" and assuring us he had all of the songs I had picked. Three hours before the wedding he text me and said that he had JUST looked over my notes and couldn't find one of my songs. As we started the ceremony, he played the wrong song for my fiancé's processional

If you would've asked me to leave a review for Rick aka Milestone DJ Services when we originally hired him I would've given him a glowing review. I was so confident and happy in my decision that I even began suggesting him to other brides I knew! One of which hired him as well! However that review has sadly changed, DRASTICALLY. Covid-19 hit everyone in such shocking ways. I feel for ever bride going through this time and every bride that went though it all ready! I don't even know where to begin. Rick was so incredible to work with, I can't speak highly enough of how helpful and fantastic he was for our wedding this past weekend. He is a wealth of knowledge and such a comfort to work with. He knows just how to tailor the party for your event's specific needs and is great at reading a crowd. I would absolutely suggest him for any family or friends for literally any event. Amazing, amazing work.

We were recently married, and hired Rick to MC/DJ our wedding. He did a great job at the event, and really got the crowd going. We actually didn't expect much dancing, but he made it happen! Received a lot of compliments from both our guests and even from the caterer staff.
What I really liked about him is that he was there for us and helped keep the event on track. He adapted to opportunities that popped up, and made the event seamless. Very professional and fun!

We hired Rick Tracewell of Milestones DJ to provide his services for my daughter's and her British fiancé's wedding on our property. Besides this international wedding being beautiful and fun for all -- many American and British friends and family spent the night camping out in "tent city" -- the music, personality, and complete command of the wedding process demonstrated by Rick really made the wedding ceremony and reception top notch in all aspects. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for the best DJ around.

I hired Rick to DJ my wedding in October 2013. I recommend his services to any brides looking for quality. My wedding was Gatsby themed, which takes place in the 1920's. It was difficult to find a DJ who was able to play music from that era. Rick worked with me to match exactly what I wanted. His music selection is outstanding.
Rick let me choose the main songs, such as the first dance, ceremony, etc. He built a playlist for me around the songs I chose, which were newer current songs and blending the 1920's era into it as well. The end result was magical. He kept the pace flowing smoothly

I can not rave about Milestones DJ enough. Milestones DJ was extremely professional and did an EXCELLENT job on my wedding day - Rick is the MAN! Everything went smoothly and Rick even saved the day when my 6-year-old step son was quite upset that he had to go home late that evening and Rick played Mr. Roboto for him, which immediately cheered him up and led to 5 plus minutes of "the robot" dance, and my step son then left with a family member very peacefully. Without my husband and I hand-selecting songs for our wedding (we had no time to do so), Rick created a playlist from a handful

I was nervous about hiring a dj until I called Milestones. The owner Rick was professional and knew the industry. He even helped me with his experiences and what to do or not to do. He suggested a double sided buffet line and it was great that all of our guests were eating quickly and with us. Rick knew how important "MY" day was and met with me in person to help calm my nerves and get to know our dj before the wedding. Our reception was amazing and Rick made sure the flow of the cake, first dance, ect. went off without a hitch. I never had to worry and the guests loved his music
