Having a wedding in June. Having a destination wedding was scary idea to do because you just never know. But I’m happy I did. But one thing that helped a lot is Destify! Since day one they have been nothing but honest. I was looking in Jamaica or Aruba. Carolina or Caroline sorry forgot the name told me during covid Jamaica and Aruba had more restriction than Mexico. She is absolutely right I should of thought of that. I traveled to all 3 and those two had the most restriction. So I went with Mexico. Used this service as a guest at a destination wedding. The prices for the resort were higher through them and they limited the types of rooms & length of stay, which we didn't find out until after booking with them. Also, the transportation that they allegedly set up for us to return to the airport no-showed and there was no way for us to get a hold of anyone. We ended up having to take an Uber that luckily still got us there in time. I don't know what it is like from a bride or groom's end, but it was not a great experience from mine.

We were working with Jennifer Whitgrove in hopes of pulling the trigger on a destination wedding with a close group of friends/family.

The customer service is amazing. I am getting married to my fiancé for a destination wedding in Tulum, and I (like many getting married) don’t really know what I’m doing. Alexandra was extremely attentive and listened to me, helped guide me to what I needed. Then a couple months down the road things changed and I changed the reservation, not once, but twice. Once I downgraded, then later upgraded to a better room than I originally booked. Luis B and Lauren were so understanding and helpful, and got me exactly what I asked for, and didn’t make me feel bad about being a little indecisive.

AVOID this company at any cost. I was forced to cancel my trip last minute due to a COVID case and I asked for them to file a claim with their "booking partner" for a travel credit (not refund). They said they would and that it would take up to 8 weeks for a reply. 12 weeks later, I hadn't heard anything so I sent them a message and within minutes they said the claim was denied. This company is fraudulent, there is no value added to their services. They are taking advantage of the fact that wedding guests are forced to use them. I tried to book a return flight airport transfer that was included in my package that was prepaid, and they would not accommodate me first because I was not booking round trip transportation (which actually would save them money). Giselle was absolutely the BEST!! Scheduling a phone call time slot with her was the best was to make sure I was available when she was. Giselle answered all of my many questions. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19's every changing rules and spread, we decided to have the wedding in the US. I do not recommend Destify!! They were unresponsive and lacked communication with my wedding guests (50 people). They do not fully disclose the comps you are eligible for. I would have had less stress booking directly with the resort. The representative at the resort stated that they see a lot of issues with Destify. Beware!!!!!

If there is a 0 star rating it’s it. The service and the communication has been awful. Stressful to the point of tears. As a bride they are changing things left and right. Last week it was My travel insurance is no longer and they kept request payment without us even aware we owed at the time. Later they told us it was a glitch in the system. It… left my parents and I stressed out if it was a scam or not. If I could give ZERO stars I would! My daughter planned a destination wedding through Destify before Covid. The problems started almost immediately when we had to re-book. The customer service was terrible. Email only (no phone number unless they called you). They wouldn't let many of the guests re-book without more fees, LOTS of hassle and confusion! Many people lost their refunds! We ended up dealing with about 5 different people, the last of whom was named Erica. I was constantly getting texts and calls from family and friends stating that they had not heard from her in days. Covid happened and my wedding was canceled. We used Destify for our wedding travel. They were not responsive, very unprofessional, and messed up several reservations for our guests. When they arrived at the resort 1000's of miles from home they were told they did not have a room. A family member scheduled a destination wedding with this company but had to postpone for a year because COVID. Most interactions with this company have not been useful. Their communication is poor. They rarely answer their phones, and have been rude when they do. My brother emailed them a bunch of times trying to get a straight answer of how much it would cost to add an extra person to the room and never got a straight answer.
