We are committed to the development and dedication of our children. For our younger students, we offer a unique Martial Arts Program designed for ages 4-8 here in Scottsdale. MVK makes a commitment to providing its students with a well-balanced training regime, including forms, basics, sparring, Taekwondo and self-defense.

Basic Taekwondo techniques prepare students here in Scottsdale for more complex movements. A fundamental command of blocks and punches improves motor skills; repetition of these basic techniques teaches strength and discipline. MVK has been established in 1995 by Master Nicholas Koclanis of Chicago, IL. Master Koclanis, a first generation student, trained under Grand Master Chang Hae Choi of Chicago, IL. At MVK you will experience the authentic Taekwondo system, dating back to the eighteenth century and passed on from Master to student.
