I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor working in private practice in Dubuque, Iowa. I've been providing mental health counseling to individuals and families in the Dubuque area since 1999 and earned my Mental Health Counselor license in 2005. I offer outpatient mental health counseling in a private practice setting, primarily working with individuals between the ages of 14 through adulthood.

Services
Normal sessions last 50-55 minutes and usually occur on a weekly basis. The initial session, the intake, can last a full hour. During the initial session I will be asking questions regarding family history, mental health history, educational and/or work experience and emotional and behavioral history.
Part of understanding the benefits of treatment is understanding the importance of our initial meeting and information gathering. The intake will provide me with your contact, demographic, and basic assessment information. It will also inform you of my treatment philosophy, issues regarding confidentiality, financial terms, emergency procedures, your rights and responsibilities, and your consent for treatment.
