Hello, my name is Sara-Katherine and I am so glad that you are here. I believe that just as every acorn has the potential to grow into a mighty oak, every person has the potential to grow into the strongest version of themselves. Whether you are looking for help for yourself, your family, or a child, I want to assist you in whatever way I can.
Session fees are $85 per 50-minute session. Payments by cash/credit card/ personal check are made at the end of each therapy session, unless other arrangements have been made. I understand that things happen and you may need to cancel your appointment. However, our cancellation policy requires at least 24 hour notice.
I am privileged to specialize in working with the little humans. They are so much better than we grown-ups are at knowing exactly what they need to heal their hearts. I am often in awe of the resilience and bravery they bring to the therapy room. Child Centered Play Therapy is based on the principle that for children "Play is their language and toys are their words."
Individual therapy offers you the chance to explore your heart and your life in a way that we often don't make time for in our everyday lives. Imagine a camera lens. In daily life the lens is in a tight close up: your meeting at work, the exchange with an acquaintance in the grocery store, the ding of your phone issuing in yet another email.
Just as each member of your family has his or her own individual spirit, the family or couple also has a spirit. That living spirit is what you feel when all of you are together, laughing at the dinner table, or when you and your partner catch each other's eyes from across a crowded room. A family is bigger than just the sum of its parts.
