Our amazing Preschool Martial Arts Program is now offering in-person classes here in Jacksonville! Boosts your child's focus, respect, confidence, and social skills. Love this school! Our six year old has been enrolled for one month, and we are pleased. The instruction and instructors have been fantastic towards new students, and Joshua looks forward to "karate day". Where we have been really impressed is the communication with the parents, such as weekly focus emails and check-in phone calls. On our first visit, the introduction lesson, at least 5 staff members knew our son's name, and the hospitality has continued. We look forward to seeing his development and confidence grow.

We started at Tersak’s last summer hoping to build some confidence and some self defense skills in our little guy, but we’ve gained so much more! Everyone treats you like family from the moment you enter; Master Chris takes the time to get to know each student (as well as every other instructor as well!) We couldn’t be more pleased with our time here so far and are so excited to see our son’s progress and growth, physically and mentally!

A lovely, honest, patient, family-run gem!
I have been to at least a dozen karate academies before finding our home with Tersaks. It's tucked way back off San Jose, and they don't do too much marketing, but don't let that fool you! This place is BOOMING with activity, while at the same time, maintaining that welcoming, accepting, family friendly atmosphere.
It's little pricey (okay, its ALOT pricey) but so far it does seem worth it to me. My twins are at the age where they want to do different things, and my son begged to "be a ninja." I went to many local places, and pretty much all of them

Tersak's has become a new 'home' for me, where I can stretch myself to personal limits in a productive and safe environment. My experience is consistently incredible! My self confidence, control, and overall attitude has improved since I started...I wish I would have joined a long time ago! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The Academy is TOP NOTCH! I can't get enough :)

My youngest has enjoyed every class! My oldest has been participating in the ladies series. She recently participated in the Teen Police Academy and had confidence taking charge in a drill, approaching the boys for their names, etc. I asked her what made her feel so confident (as this is 180° from her normal shyness) and she said 'going to the ladies classes'. She is now asking to get enrolled after her sport season.

I've been a student for the last 15 years and have worked here for the last 6 years. If you're looking to gain confidence, discipline, determination, and self defense all while having fun this is the place for you. It is family owned and operated and has a very loving environment. My family has been involved with the school since I started back in 2005 and have loved every moment of it. You'll receive quality martial arts instruction and meet lifelong friends. I highly recommend joining!
