We've been long time customers, because the pizza is good. But after this past weekend's dismissively rude service, I doubt we'll go back. They did not have any record of our having ordered a pizza, and were apparently "too busy" to take an order from a customer standing right in front of them. From the complete indifference of the man behind the counter, I doubt it matters one bit that you've lost a customer. Thank goodness Westfield has so many other good pizza places, where customer service matters.

The menu for this venue is a bit hard to navigate at first...but once you try their food...you'll forget about that in a second! Whether you are getting a simple cheese pizza or a delivery of a bunch of food (I especially like the chicken franchise, and the sausage and peppers --- but if you want sauce with the second one you have to ask for it separately and I hate that but no harm no foul if you have your own red sauce at home), this spot is worth the pricing FOR what you get --- in my opinion. I HATED the salads I had though. Go for the pasta etc. or pizza!

I've been eating at Buona for 22 years now (I'm 32 yo) and they have been consistently the ABSOLUTE BEST pizza in the area for at least that long. Once a week since I was 10, it's tradition.
I've had all the other pizza spots in Westfield, Cranford, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, and none of them are as good. Don't get me wrong, there's a few other places in Westfield that have quality pizza as well. There's actually a couple places I'll go to because I like their specialty pies.
If you really want a traditional plain pizza that'll make you salivate on

Ordered dinner from there tonight and everything was delicious (as always!). We love the wings and the subs. Today we also got baked ziti and chicken Marsala dinners. The Salad Pizza is the best you'll get in Westfield. Overall great value, food was ready on time, and everyone loves each and every one of their meals. Definitely recommend!!!

Did not make it right. I ordered food directly from their site. Same meal I have ordered in the past. The incorrect food came and I was told after I called that I need to specify the way i want it despite the fact that I wanted the meal exactly as they described it on the site. This was not the customer’s fault. I got a call back which was nice. However, there was no offer to send the corrected meal or to credit my card for the mistake. Not ordering here again.

Haven't ordered from this spot in a long and decided to go for it because their salad pizza was always a favorite- DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Calamari was plentiful and delcious- asked for extra hot sauce and it was delivered! Salad pizza was as amazing as I remembered. Order was right. Food was delicious. Price was fair. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Although their pizza are good. Customer service when calling to place an order is horrible. My son calls to place an order for pick up and when he requested a particular wrap the lady replied, "we do not have it, call back later." And she hung up.
I was a faithful client and because of what she did, I will no longer give them my business or recommend them. Not star worthy.

I am not one of those people who likes to argue about the merits of local pizzerias with the fervor of Giants fans arguing whether Eli Manning should remain at quarterback. The pizza here is good and fairly priced, but you will not come away raving about it. The interior is basic.
Although I prefer Sonny G's or Fiamma among local pizza shops, Buona serves a good pizza and has lots of free parking.
