I was about to give a 5-star review for coming same day to fix my sewer main and complete the job within 1 hour.
Then they charged me for 15 min of driving (ok, fine), 20 min of casual tool cleaning (really?), and 15 MIN FOR WRITING UP THE BILL! Yes, they charged me for the time it took to calculate and type up the total—ridiculous!
UPDATE RESPONSE: Jamie and the technician were courteous and helpful, and I appreciated the same-day service. I also I agree people should get paid; no one is disputing that.
But I just can’t stomach being charged $125/hr to write up my bill. I just spoke with

Last night, my washing machine overflowed; there was water everywhere and it was coming up from underneath the floorboards. My insurance company advised me to call a plumber and figure out the problem. I called Legacy plumbing after reading some Yelp reviews. I called and from the first moment I was treated courteously and received a lot of help. I spoke with Dave and he recommended I call a restoration company because he didn't think it sounded like a plumbing problem and he didn't want me to waste my money. I noticed my water heating leaking on a Friday evening. I sent an email to Legacy Plumbing at 7:04pm with my name, address, and general description of the issue. I received an email from Jamie, owner of the company at 7:36pm. Jamie explained that although they are technically overbooked for the weekend, he would see what he can do to squeeze me into their schedule. I have had a history of bad plumbing experiences living in the old condo I live in. I had a plumber, Shaun, from Legacy come to my condo to look at two different plumbing issues I had with two different toilets. He quickly diagnosed the issues and repaired both toilets for little over a $100 (including parts). One of the toilets had an issue that many plumbers just wrote off as bad pipes or a larger issue that would have cost a lot more time/money. I was impressed that Shaun was able to diagnose and repair the problem so quickly and I was happy that it didn't take much time or money on

I dealt with Quintin when he was with another company. When I called them to schedule to have him come out to fix a problem, they said he had left a while ago. Thanks to Google I was able to locate him at Legacy Plumbing and couldn't be happier tthat we get to keep our trusted plumber!
