Founded in 1912, Greater Chattanooga REALTORS is a regional organization with more than 2,500 members servicing Hamilton and Sequatchie counties in southeast Tennessee and Catoosa, Dade and Walker counties in northwest Georgia. The Association is one of approximately 1,100 local associations/board of REALTORS nationwide that comprise the National Association of REALTORS.
The George Kangles Community Citizenship Award was established in 2011 to remember the work and efforts of the late George Kangles, and his time and dedication serving our community and all levels of the REALTOR Association. Proven community citizenship with respect to active involvement in governmental and political affairs;.
Annually contributes $5,000 for Habitat to provide ReStore Trucks, which display the Greater Chattanooga REALTORS logo and serves as a constant reminder to the public about the REALTOR brand and importance of using a REALTOR when buying, selling, leasing and managing property. Recruits REALTORS to assist with new construction builds and neighborhood revitalization projects.

Meeting regularly with elected officials representing the citizens of Hamilton and Sequatchie counties in southeast Tennessee and Catoosa, Dade, and Walker counties in northwest Georgia, as well as travelling annually to Nashville, Atlanta, and Washington D.C. to meet with state and federal officials on issues affecting private property rights.

REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC) is the voice of REALTORS on Capitol Hill. Since 1969, RPAC has been promoting the election of pro-REALTOR candidates across the United States. The REALTOR party does not consider political party affiliation, which makes RPAC one of the most bi-partisan PACs in existence.
