Services
Our staff gladly processes insurance claims as a convenience to you. Please bring the necessary forms with you on your first visit. Insurance policies generally cover only a portion of the total treatment cost. Unless other arrangements have been made, we ask that you pay your portion of the bill at the time of treatment.
You will be pleased to find that we will generally see you right at the appointed time. We will make every effort to complete your treatment in as few visits as possible. In order for us to be efficient with the time that we have scheduled for you, we would ask that you also be prompt and always give 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep an appointment so that the time is not wasted.
Dr. Alan H. Nguyen graduated with honors from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2000. He is a recipient of the UCLA Academy of Operative Dentistry Award, which is awarded to the dentist showing exceptional skills in restorative dentistry (crowns, fillings, bridges). Dr. Nguyen was also on faculty at UCLA serving as a clinical instructor at the dental school.
Everyone loves a bright, white smile. Today there are a variety of products and procedures available to help you improve the color of your teeth. Some whitening procedures are done in our office with one visit. Other whitening agents can even be purchased over-the-counter. However, over-the-counter whitening agents will not whiten your teeth as quickly or as effectively as those delivered by a dentist.

I was referred to Dr. Nguyen by my Dr. Jonsson, as being someone kind (that I was looking for in a dentist) and if someone was to save my tooth from a root canal it would be Dr. Nguyen- he is the one. You can find more about the root canal in a different review.
First appointment was scheduled the following date after the root canal, he reviewed the questionable tooth and said that he could fix it. We scheduled the crown appointment (for the molar that just got a root canal the day before)

This whole office is awesome! :-) Michelle, the front office reception, was kind enough to check not only my insurance but my husbands as well before our appointments. Due to her being so proactive she saved us a bunch, I had no idea my husband was not due for his cleaning yet.
Can I just say Dr. Nguyen is simply amazing! He's super chill and knowledgeable! I didn't even feel a pinch when he numbed me up for my crown and the results we fantastic! We all hate a trip to the dentist but honestly Dr. Nguyen and his team make you feel right at home and everything is explained very thoroughly

My entire family has been going to Crown Valley Dental for years and seeing Dr Nguyen and his team of wonderful assistants and hygienists. Everyone is so sincere and kind. They listen and attend to all our questions, concerns, fears, and challenges to all our dental needs. It feels like a family in their office and is very warm and welcoming at each of our visits. Okay, I hate to admit it but I haven't been to the dentist in quite a long time because I've been scared. Believe it or not, my ex-wife recommended Dr. Nguyen because he is thorough, patient, understanding and has a great demeanor and I couldn't agree more! The entire staff including Michelle, Mako and Dr. Nguyen have been a pleasure to work with and I can't wait to get past the routine cleaning and onto the whitening and veneers!
Don't be a scaredy-cat like me cuz there's absolutely nothing to worry about and you're in good hands with Dr. Nguyen!

In one hour and a half!!!!!!!
He was amazing!!!!! From the phone call I made for my first time visit here to the end, I have never had this type of treatment ever!!!!
I got an apt the same day I called,
I told them my situation, and right way I was treated!!! I don't usually leave yelp comments but when I do, I know I was extremely happy with the way they helped me.
I had a filling on my molar that came out and Dr. Nguyen fixes it the same day. No follow up or nothing.
He knows how to work with your time. And trust me when I say "HE WORKS WITH YOUR TIME"!!!!

Dr Nguyen is incredibly professional, trustworthy, kind and has the best bedside manner. He is always supportive in answering my many questions. Dr. Nguyen has been my dentist for years and he books his time to give every patient quality care, and he runs on schedule so you don't spend all your time in the waiting. The office is AMAZING, it's a small staff and they treat you like family, always clean and very accommodating to make my visit smooth, easy and always painless. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen not only for my comments but because he's a brilliant and gentle dentist, and his staff is great. After reading reviews, I decided to check this place out. I was new to the area. The hygienist was very nice but she kept messing up X-rays and had to repeat multiple times which is not very good for your body to be exposed to radiation unnecessarily. I was also not impressed with teeth cleaning. Then, Dentist Alan H Nguyen came over, did not really introduce himself. Started to check my teeth while talking with employee about some leakage they had from the sink or something...Overall, I was not happy with service. Found another place where I got top notch service and super happy about it.

I came as a referral from a retired dentist so thought he was worth trying out. Second visit in I am confident I've made the right decision. I experienced no pain from the numbing shots before the procedure, Doctor was working both sides of my mouth alternately but giving small breaks to rest. Claudia and Dr. worked efficiently and spoke politely to each other while tending to procedures. A big thumbs up to their skill, technology, and overall a happy experience for me.

I called to get a consultation for my husband. My husband has a lot of work that needs to be done. I spoke to the wife of the Dentist that was working that day since she said the Manager is on vacation. I asked her if this will be free of charge since I'll be getting other estimates. She said yes she did not get my insurance info and went ahead and booked my appointment then when we're about to go to consultation the day before they informed me that they're going to charge our insurance for consultation or it will be out of our pocket. I just moved to the area and needed to find a dentist. I have to say this is the first time that I have ever selected a healthcare professional based on Yelp reviews but I decided to give it a try. I have been twice now- once for a cleaning and today I went to get 2 cavities filled. You know those pesky stinging shots they give you prior to getting a cavity filled? Ya - no they didn't exist at my appointment today. Dr. Nguyen's work every time I've been in, has been professional, thorough, friendly, pain-free, and he keeps you informed on what's happening every step of the way. He also has a fabulous and friendly support

First of all, with my employer paid insurance running out and a recommendation from a friend I made a phone call to Crown Valley Dental and the office manager, Michelle was very sensitive to my time constraints and was apt to fit me in for a checkup, ensuring that Dr. Nguyen and his Dental Hygiene specialist Maykou would have the time they needed to do a full cleaning and x rays to make sure that I was all taken care of for the time being. Most people I know hate going to the dentist. They talk about it grudgingly both before and after they visit. Not even the free toothbrush seems to make the experience pleasant! Because of Dr. Nguyen and his amazing staff, I am not one of those people!
I like going to the dentist. Michelle at the front desk greets me each time as though I am an old friend just coming over for a visit. All of the ladies that have worked on my teeth have been so sweet and kind. Dr. Nguyen always welcomes me as though he is welcoming
