Wake up one saturday morning. House cold because AC was not working. Search for recommended top HVAC companies in the Raleigh area and decided to give it a try with Comfort Monster. I called and I was given an appointment within two hours. Young technician arrive and rapidly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Price highly reasonable. I signed for maintenance plan right away!

A friend recommended Comfort Monster when I found myself without heat on a weekend and on the coldest day of the year. He said they would respond quickly, but I was skeptical. I was wrong...they answered the phone immediately and scheduled a visit right away. Within 24 hours, my home was, once again, warm & toasty! Oh, and did I mention the extremely reasonable price and the very knowledgeable repair person?!

We've been using Comfort Monster for our yearly ac and heat inspections for the past year and they've been wonderful. Our heat went out this past week, during the first cold nights of the season. We called Comfort Monster and they came out the next day. Clay was fantastic. He was kind, respectful and exceeded our expectations, all for a very fair price. I noticed Saturday night my AC was leaking. I paid extra for someone to come by on Sunday, even though I knew could troubleshoot it myself, because I don't have the time this weekend for that, and can't be reliably home during the week. I've had issues with this unit in the past, and I gave them the thorough history. The technician was very nice - he wore a mask inside the house, and was nice to my dog. But when he was all done, I asked him what he had done, and he said he removed a large clog in the pipe. I asked him if he had tested it, and he said yes. But he hadn't turned

I called Comfort Monster at about 2 p.m. and they were here by 2:30 and had my A/C fixed by 3 p.m.. Clay (their technician) was extremely knowledgeable and immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it so all I had to pay was the service call fee. I would definitely use Comfort Monster again (FYI...I called another company before calling C.M. and the other company couldn't get to me until the next day whereas C.M. arrived about 30 minutes after I called!!!).

Outstanding service, quality, and professionalism. My last company missed so many obvious problems with my system and cost me about $1500 without ever really fixing anything. These guys came out and within 2 visits had my system properly diagnosed and fixed for a reasonable price. The guys are great to work with and take their time to explain what they're doing and why. Highly recommended!!

Oh let me tell you a story, a story of how a good paying costumer has been robbed and mistreated by his HVAC technicians. I have the yearly care plan from Comfort Monster, a couple of days after they came in and did the summer maintenance my unit shut down completely, I called them and they promptly showed up and sent a terrible 'technician", if this same guy is sent to your house you would do better taking a steel rod to your attic and banging away, but I digress. 'technician" did not fix the problem, made up some part that needed replacement and said he would be back on MONDAY. Monday rolled

Jordan arrived as scheduled to give me a quote for a new system since my old unit had been acting up. He looked over several things with the unit to determine what would be needed and gave me some good advice on how to make both units run more efficiently. The quote I received was considerably higher than I expected, but I believe Comfort Monster would provide top notch service. As it turned out, I had some other issues suddenly turn up with the house that had to be taken care of immediately, which has delayed getting anything done with the a/c.

I called initially to get a quote for service on my existing HVAC unit. The initial call didn't go well and I posted a negative review on Yelp detailing my experience. Within minutes of my post I was contacted by a customer service manager with Comfort Monster. She apologized and listened to my complaint. She was able to get the information I initially requested and sent out one of their sales team members to give me a quote to replace my HVAC unit. It was later in the evening when i discovered my AC wasn’t working… the tech that showed up, Jordan, was extremely professional and went right to work. Was able to locate the issue almost immediately and had it resolved in about 30 minutes. I would recommend these guys to any of my clients as well as I’m in real estate. Jordan was probably the best tech I’ve had thus far.

Man that was expensive. Nearly $300 for a weekend service call - $150 just to show up and another $140 to clear out the condensation line. I was in contact with a person recommended by the family who tried to guide me through what to do remotely and would’ve charged $60 for the same job. Definitely a good reminder to shop around and

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience with Comfort Monster. Sales was great, service & management were awful. Over 3 months of almost daily visits to install the new units. Two units were installed incorrectly that caused the ceiling to collapse so they had to have a contractor come out to dry the carpet and replace and repair the ceiling drywall and insulation. Fast forward to today (one month after their last install day) and ALL of the BRAND NEW units show error messages on the thermostats and the house can’t get below 82 degrees on any of the 3 new units. I have a very old AC unit and have used many different companies over the years, and this was by far my best experience. I dread getting repairs because I'm always pressured to buy a new system, but not with this company! My service person Chris was friendly, worked efficiently, and didn't try to sell me on anything. I was told about a maintenance plan they offer, but again there was no pressure or shady sales tactics, which I really appreciate. Prices are also very reasonable. This is definitely going be by my go-to AC company from now on!

John Kelly came out to our house today...our upstairs a/c unit was not working...we thought we needed Freon...turns out we needed a capictor and John just happened to have Freon on him anyway....so he didn't even charge us to cap off the Freon....he did not try to sell us anything else...he did advise us to budget for new units as our units are 16 years old!!
