Circa 1889, This 6500- square foot, white colonial revival is graced with a Victorian Tower and an impressive columned entrance suitable for its original owner, turn-of-the-century attorney, Phillip Driver. Impressive crown moldings and massive bay windows frame antique Victorian-reminiscent furnishings.
What is the capacity of guests at Vizcaya's venue? Vizcaya can accommodate a total of 240 people for each event. The seated capacity is also dependent on your dinner style for the evening. Does Vizcaya have guest count minimums? We do not have guest count minimums, but do have food minimums that clients must hit.

We had our wedding at Vizcaya and had the pleasure of working with Rachel as our wedding planner. First off, everyone said the wedding was beautiful because Vizcaya is a beautiful venue. The food was delicious, and so were the drinks that Vizcaya's bartender prepared. Rachel did an excellent job keeping in contact with us, especially during COVID. She orchestrated the wedding to perfection and went above and beyond to ensure everything went off without a hitch. It was a pleasure working with her and all the great people at Vizcaya. They gave us our dream wedding.

After 3 postponements, we had our wedding July 18th. I have to say it was well worth the wait. Our wedding was cancelled two weeks prior to our original date due to COVID, so the wedding was essentially paid for. My husband and I decided to elope the day of and postpone our big wedding date.
Rachel was our coordinator and she was very flexible and easy to work with. She made our wedding day go so smoothly. Our guests raved about the wedding and the food was delicious! I highly recommend Rachel as your coordinator. She made sure everyone had food and was taken care of.

We chose Vizcaya over quite a few wineries and other downtown Sacramento venues we toured. The location is great for our out of town family/friends from the airport and downtown lodging. The venue is amazing, being accommodating to large parties with both indoor and outdoor options! The BYOB with a bartender was a great option!! This review is for phone etiquette and customer service only. I have been searching for wedding venues and this venue came across my feed so I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Samantha over the phone and just didn't like her rushed energy. It felt like my call was bothering her and felt very rushed off of the phone. I called to inquire regarding details of hosting a wedding there. She basically told me to look on the website and that she could send me an email. Since she said everything is on the website I guess you have to look through the website and figure out your own pricing

My husband and I got married here on May 23, 2021. Our day was amazing and went off without a hitch. Due to all of the COVID regulations, we were unsure if we would still be able to have our dream day, but to our surprise everything was perfect and we could not have asked for a better day!

Rachel was super easy to get along with, and consistently responsive to my many, many questions. She completed a virtual tour, and then an in person tour with me about a week later. For the price, and the vintage charm of this venue, plus the fact that it's BYOB with a bartender included, you really can't go wrong if you choose to have your wedding at Vizcaya.

The venue coordinators and catering staff at Vizcaya are top-notch when it comes to serving their clients and creating seamless events. The historic property and neighborhood offer gorgeous backdrops for photos. Guests can stay in the bed and breakfast which makes hosting an event at Vizcaya even more convenient and relaxing. You feel like you have the whole property to yourself!

This review is long overdue!! My husband and I got married at Vizcaya August 2019. We were so happy with everything from beginning to end. Rachel was our coordinator. She's AMAAAZING!! We are so thankful to have had her by our side-helping us make our day everything we wanted it to be. The venue is GORGEOUS! Everything went as planned on the day of. From the beginning upon inquiry, our coordinator, Ali, was so communicative and informative. She provided us a document of all available dates left in 2019 which helped us narrow down our wedding date. Once we selected the Vizcaya as our wedding venue and signed the contract, everything was smooth sailing ahead!

I found Vizcaya through weddingwire. The venue is so beautiful with a fountain and pillars. I fell in love with the venue and it was at a very great price. They allow you to bring your own alcohol in, which was a priority of mine. They also let you have sparklers so that was a plus. The food minimum was reasonable. The food tasted good. They set up everything and took everything down. The bartender and coordinator are included in the pricing as well which is priceless!! The venue was WELL worth it! First off let me start by saying that getting married at vizcaya was the best decision we made. When I went to a open house I knew right away that I felt something I hadn't felt at any other venue. Every employee at vizcaya was so friendly and accommodating. Not only was the staff so nice but the property was stunning. My coordinator ended up being Ali and she was above and beyond amazing! On 5/7/17. For the most part all went as planned.
Our guests loved the food and venue.
My wife loved the place, the venue and working with the coordinator. As for me, I thought the place was nice as well. My wife loved it and that's what mattered

She answered every single email no matter how many this crazy bride sent a day. Vizcaya is a 15 minute walk to midtown and about a 3 minute drive. The Ice blocks have so much going on you definitely want to make your way over and don't forget to stop by Philz coffee house.
I was so excited to find Vizcaya. Online this place looks like a little hidden piece of heaven in Sacramento. Add the fact they had amazing reviews. So I jumped at the opportunity to stay here with my husband to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary! Upon arrival we entered the wrong "house". We came in where they hold wedding receptions. The place was beautiful. That added to my excitement

I could not have been happier with my wedding experience at Vizcaya!! Our coordinator (Rachel) was amazing - organized, efficient, positive, and friendly throughout the whole process. She made everything so easy for us! All we really had to worry about was dropping everything off the day before! The wedding turned out beautifully and we were so well taken care of by Rachel and the rest of the Vizcaya staff. We got really great feedback from our guests about the venue and food as well!

This review is a bit over due since we got married on June 30, 2018. First off, I would like to say thank you to the AMAZING Kelsey Harrell my event coordinator. Just absolutely adored her!! In the beginning when I booked with this venue it was a little frustrating as I had 3 different Coordinators in the first few months of booking. But the last one that being Kelsey, I couldn't of been happier with. From the start she had always been on point with communication and was always so patient with all my questions. I went to this venue for the first time last week. I was honored to officiate my friends wedding, and it turned out perfectly. The venue was beautiful, and a perfect spot to have an event. The wedding was outside, and although I was worried about the weather, it turned out well as they tried to accommodate with portable heaters throughout. The wedding coordinator, Alexis was amazing and had a friendly, but still firm method of coordinating the event. We looked far and wide for a venue that was was able to accommodate our large party (250+) without breaking the bank. I came across Vizcaya's website and the photos were what struck me first... THIS PLACE IS GORGEOUS! From the neighborhood it sits in to the entire grounds. I didn't know something like this existed in Sacramento.
