It was 1978, a retired Reverend Hansen was wondering what the next chapter of his life would bring. At the time, most wedding planners were associated with hotels. He thought there should be a simple way for a couple to have an intimate ceremony with their feet in the beautiful Hawaiian sand. With that idea, Weddings of Hawaii was founded.

Early last fall we began our research of local all-inclusive wedding packages, perfect for small weddings here in Hawaii. Originally we were going to go with another company but STRONGLY disliked that they weren't forthcoming about cost when we asked for costs. Weddings of Hawaii was the winner for us! I'll start off by saying that the communication was great from start to finish. The planners gave quick replies (considering the time difference in California) and were quick to answer any questions. I chose Waialae Beach for our ten year anniversary vow renewal. Our three children were also there. I picked a Monday at 4:30 since the website said weekdays were a better chance of having less people around. The officiant and photographer were there to greet us and extremely pleasant. This beach looks like a regular park upon getting there, but walking about 100 feet up it opens to a grassy area

The Ritz Carlton Waikīkī recommended them to us when we decided to elope to Waikīkī and I'm so happy they did! Everyone at this company is thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly kind and understanding. Glory was so sweet when I had license questions and Lauren put us completely at ease with every detail thought through even though we had never been to the island to scout it out! Amazing company! We changed our package a few times and they did not care at all. Quickly updated what we wanted and were so friendly about it. They gave us exactly what we wanted! The day of our wedding I had the nicest lady come and do my hair and makeup at our hotel room which made it so nice and convenient. The staff met us at the exact location and time that they said they would. They were so friendly and we felt very comfortable with them. The wedding and pictures were the exact time frame that they said. The ceremony was great and exactly what we wanted. The pictures turned out amazing!

We highly recommend the wedding of Hawaii packages. The hotel and wedding staff make you and your guests feel special. The hotel is centrally located btw shops and beach. The hair and makeup artist faith bartruff and hope we're awesome. they were on time and professional. We got married in September and Weddings of Hawaii made everything so easy and stress free. There was a great selection of packages so we were able to choose exactly what we wanted for our elopement. From the very first day of conversations about a potential wedding through them, to the first night in Hawaii; our minds were at ease. Stress levels were minimal and on the days leading up to the event they were non-existent. Weddings of Hawaii took care of everything.

If I could give this company 10 stars I would because that's how much they deserve this. As an upcoming first year teacher and running a dog rescue, and my then fiancé running engineering projects for roads, we were absolutely exhausted and stressed. My daughter and her now husband used Weddings of Hawaii to plan their intimate wedding ceremony. It was held in a private setting here at Noelani Garden in Kāneohe on the "windward" side of the island. I don't know much about the planning details but I am reviewing as a guest.

I'm so glad that I choose Wedhawaii . We just have our 30th wedding anniversary last Tuesday 4/20/2021. We renewed our vow in Hawaiian traditional wedding, officiated by Haku Kelehua who delivered such an exceptional ceremony .And she have a very fantastic & lovely voice . I was looking for a marriage license agent and this company is listed on the DOH's website, well the number listed ((808) 947-4797) is no longer in service. So I went to Weddings of Hawaii website and decided to contact Sherrilyn who is listed as a wedding agent for the McCully, Waikiki, and Wahiawa areas. To my surprise when I called her she said she is no longer an active agent and directed me to Lauren. Surprise - she did not respond to my texts.

We just finished watching both videos about a dozen times now and WoWWww.. we are taken a back! Tom did an over the moon job and we are So so so happy on how they turned out. Can't write enough good things about this business. After a year of trying to figure out a wedding venue worth it we finally decided to elope and I'm SO GLAD WE DID. They literally take care of everything for you and everyone there is amazing at what they do. Our officiant was perfect. We decided to livestream it for our family back home and it was worth every penny, the quality was literally better than anything we could have expected.
