Born and raised in Decatur, Alabama, I obtained my undergraduate degree in finance at the University of Alabama in 1992 and graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1995. While in law school, I was selected to the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. Since 1995, I have concentrated my practice on representing individuals and the families of individuals who have been harmed or injured as a result of the wrongful acts of others.
I grew up on a small farm in Blount County, Alabama. One of my strengths as a lawyer is my ability to relate to people from all walks of life. I earned my law degree with honors from the Cumberland School of Law in 1998, where I served on Law Review and the National Moot Court Team and became the first lawyer in my family.
Every moment of every day someone is injured because of someone else's negligence or recklessness. This team is beyond amazing! I was hit head on, totaling my vehicle a couple of years ago. My daughter was rear ended by a distracted driver causing several months of physical therapy. Tara has gone above and beyond to help our family get our medical bills reduced and paid by the insurances.
