Amazing food at reasonable prices every single time. Very authentic Mexican food, 10/10

I give this place 1 star due to service was horrible, food had no taste. Girl at the counter had terrible customer service. Spent $40 plus ordered some chips with salsa dip and asked for an extra salsa dip, I was charged $1.63 for an extra dip. If I would of known not only the food but the dip had no flavor I would of saved my $1.63 plus $40 I spent at this place. I do not recommend going to this place and will never eat here again.

The only thing I don't like about La Hacienda is how many other people have discovered them over the years.

This summer we upped the ante and had the restaurant cater for my wife's birthday, and they CRUSHED IT! Tacos, quesadillas, and mini burritos came at us from every direction, with salsa's chips and guacamole for all.

If you're craving Mexican food out East, this place is absolutely worth making your list. That said, take out is the way to go, limited outdoor seating is the only option.

There is a reviewer here named Carl who hits the nail on the head; friendly staff, high expectations for Mexican food and terribly dissapointed in the outcome. The combo platter I had was saved by the hot sauce which otherwise was bland and flavorless. My wife's burrito and guac and chips really were not special.. you'd be better off going to taco bell tbh. We came here with somewhat high hopes. The positive yelp rating and "hole in the wall" feel seemed promising. But we left very underwhelmed. The food was soso, really lacked in flavor which was shocking considering most Mexican food is loaded with spice and flavor but this just wasn't the case here.

-Beef Burrito: 2/5, as mentioned above..very bland. There were more refried beans than anything else in the burrito which was unfortunate. No cheese, no onions, it was pretty much refried beans, rice, & some beef. Not impressed.

-Chicken Tacos: 2/5, not horrible but also not very

Food was great before but now there is no flavor. Only thing i recommend from there is the horchata. Hopefully they get better

This is the best Mexican restaurant in town. It’s super authentic and delicious. The selection of desserts and homemade horchata is my favorite. Menudo is available on the weekends. Birria is to die for

I'm a big fan of Mexican food and am warning all who might be considering eating here: this is not it. I feel so bad for the locals who have been convinced that this is "authentic" Mexican food. The staff is friendly but the food was so bland. Our food was served in plastic plates which may be a covid precaution but it ruined the presentation. We ordered the Gordita/taco combo, the cheese enchilada combo, and an order of nachos and regret ordering so much food on our first/last visit. I don't recommend any of these. This spot is great. Quick tasty geniune food for a reasonable price. Always busy. Take care if you don't like your food spicy. They can make it less spicy but way spicy is the default since most of the customers are Latino. The breakfast buritto was enough for breakfast and lunch. They could give you more chips with the order but if you order chips and salsa you get enough to share.

Food here is delicious and fresh. A few outdoor tables to enjoy. Prices very reasonable. Employees very nice

Oh man..... This place is great!!!!!!!! Their food has never let me down. Some might say they are overpriced but honestly I think they give you a great quantity for your moneys worth. Also its vitally important that you understand that they are a cash only run business, but they do provide an ATM. So go there when you have a chance and I'd recommend their burritos. I wanted to like this place but unfortunately, I found them very disappointing. It's inexpensive and at first sight I thought it could be authentic Mexican food. However I ordered chilaquiles en salsa verde, a vegetarian burrito and a vegetarian gordita and I didn't like any of those. The best of them all was the burrito but that doesn't mean it was good. The chilaquiles were too salty and the green salsa wasn't good. The gordita was nothing to write home about and the burrito wasn't better than the ones I make at home. Very small yet comfy, no inside dining but tables are setup outdoors even on a chilly evening. Prices are good and their food is great! Must visit if near by and enjoy Mexican food...Oh yeah, it's cash only!

Nothing fancy, just solid quality and cheap Mexican food. Definitely more of a takeout lunch spot, I enjoyed my shrimp burrito for $10. Not a local so mag never be back, but it is a decent stop for lunch if you happen to be in the area

I love this place. I drive from Manorville now just to get the burrito taco combo with al pastor. Best value and taste. Be warned the spicy is "make you cry" spicy!! But... it's so worth it.

Some of the most bland food I've ever eaten. The beans and rice were the worst. The enchiladas were small and bland and they covered everything w shaved lettuce and cheap cheese. The nachos were so bland w a small amount of beans and the cheese was on top of the cold lettuce so it didn't melt. The utensils were as cheap as you can find and hard to eat with. I will never go back but I'm sure the locals who don't have many mexican food options will keep the place open. They seemed quite happy w the food.

The reviews I read had me all ready for great Mexican food. But all in all it was just average. We come from California which has excellent Mexican food. The chicken taco and chicken salad were cubes chicken squares, taste level was...’meh’. Definitely not as good as I would’ve expected in Southampton.

Excellent california style authentic mexican food. Burritos and tacos were amazing and the prices are out of this world low ($7.25 for a full fledged burrito that'll stuff you up!)

Some reviews mention the neighborhood being "bad." They must have been drunk when they were here because the neighborhood is right next to high-end shopping districts (Hampton Bays) and is right next to a grocery store in a pleasant neighborhood.

Long story short- best authentic mexican food in LI and one of the cheapest in a great location

This is a hidden little gem of a restaurant. Quite authentic Mexican food and you will see Hispanics/Latinos walking in and out of the restaurant to order. Cash only so make sure you bring some!

There is street parking in front but also a lot in the back of the restaurant, which is available to the entire plaza.

The restaurant itself is quite small; only has 6 tables with 2 seating four people and the other 4 seating only two. Takeout is probably the best option if it is busy. However the interior decor is quite cozy!
