Germantown Farmington Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility. We offer your pets many of the advanced technologies human patients receive. But, we also care for them on a personal level - always working to assure each animal's comfort and safety. We have been serving the Memphis/Germantown area since the early 1970's.
From laser surgery to digital radiology, we have invested in a wide array of advanced medical technologies to keep your pets safe and healthy. By providing a full range of medical services within our facility - including laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, ultrasound, and surgery - we can respond quickly and effectively to your pet's health needs as well as reducing the anxiety of waiting for test results.
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. Our dental prophylaxis includes safe, ultrasonic teeth cleaning above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.
Both ultrasound and digital radiology equipment are available. This allows for a non-invasive examination with instant images of internal organs, soft tissue, bones, cardiovascular structures, and other systems as well as pregnancy exams. Also, an on-call radiologist provides advanced analysis within two hours.
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care. We provide appropriate medication to relieve pain from a variety of causes, and laser therapy for post-surgical pain and many acute and chronic conditions.

I had to find a vet to take my dog at the last minute since he needed a minor unexpected surgery. The staff was amazing. They fit my dog's surgery in that day even though they had 6 others to do. They took great care of my dog, and were all highly knowledgeable about the care of what came next. Since my old vet is way across town, I'll now come here. The price was incredibly reasonable as it included the doctor visit, anesthesia, the surgery and meds to go home on. I see other people talk about the price, but I found my total cost a bargain compared to what cost I expected. My dog is doing very

Im giving this vet 2 stars only because his staff were overly sweet. Otherwise I’d give zero stars.
They took my puppy who was there for next shots and check his right eye. They disappeared for 20 to 30 minutes doing things without my consent. Finally the doc came in , introduced himself went on to tell me what they did. The bill almost made me want to throw up! I was in shock, even the receptionist thought it was high. She told me “yes I am wondering why it’s that high too”. Needless to say I will never go back there. I believe in paying for expertise and services but it’s down right

First visit went well. I was impressed on affordability and availability. During the storm that came with hurrican Laura a tiny kitten appeared on my back patio. You could see it's bones and it was covered in fleas. I called my regular vet and they could not get me in for over 10 days. After being highly recommended from a few friends I called and was able to get the kitten in same day here. I was worried about the kittens health and as well as my exposing the kitten to my other furbaby. They answered all my questions and were friendly. I am looking forward to having them taking care of my 2 furbabies

I just moved here from Kansas and was looking for an AAHA vet clinic. From my search on line I came across GFAH and am so glad I did!! One of my dogs had to have unexpected surgery and Dr. Antey was phenomenal! She provides a level of care that is extremely hard to find. This vet clinic has amazing doctors, staff and goes above and beyond to care for your pet. They will do whatever it takes, keep you well informed and your pet comfortable. It was a huge relief that I found them not knowing anything about Memphis. I am so grateful for GFAH! Thank you for taking care of my four leggeds!!
