Absolutely terrible company to deal with. You would think being family owned and being in a small town this place would have more respect for a grieving family. However Yancey Funeral Home has made it very clear the only thing they care about is money. If you have your loved one here for service, I would recommend immediately choosing a different funeral home. This place only brings more grief and burden that they force onto the family. truly disgusting.

It is truly terrible how they choose to monetize tragedies. They are cold and money hungry, almost like vultures waiting for the next to pass.
Plenty of hidden fees, breaks in contracts, and immoral business practices ensures they have ample opportunityto fill their pockets at every opportunity. The Yancey Funeral Services is truly the last thing you would want to deal with in a time of grieving.

5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yancey Funeral Service is the best funeral service probably in the USA. We are so lucky to have them in our small town. Mark, Charles, and Brittany to name a few have went above and beyond to make the most hardest time in our lives easy. I lost my Mother on 11/27/2020, and Yancey Funeral Service has been there every step of the way, I could never write all the things they have done in a short review. But absolutely trust me, these guys are the best and make the hardest thing you’ll ever go through just a bit easier!
