I had Opus Jewelers design and make my fiancée's engagement ring and wedding band. Peter is incredibly knowledgeable about gemstones, and did a fabulous job designing/making both rings. I had a specific design in mind for the engagement ring and Peter worked with me to create it from scratch to fit the gemstone I purchased separately. He did the same for the wedding band, and designed it so that it fit flush with the engagement ring. Custom designed/made jewelry is not a cheap proposition by any means, but having shopped around I believe that I got a great deal at Opus compared to buying

Where can you go to have custom jewelry created at a competitive price to off-the-shelf products everywhere else?
My fiancee and I worked with Peter on creating custom engagement ring. Peter is so kind, so knowledgeable and so patient and he made this experience an experience that concentrated on my fiancee getting what she really wanted. Highly recommended.

Peter @ Opus Jewelers was a real gem.
He did an amazing job at melting down my in-laws rings and customizing our ideal wedding bands for a great price. He was very knowledgable and very informative. We really appreciated his honesty, skills and quality work. We will definitely be using Opus for all our fine jewelry needs.

They came highly recommended from a broker who has them restore, clean and pieces for them.
I did not really have an idea what she wanted, but from the pics she showed me i thought to go into a different direction and do something custom but with a vintage look.
They worked with me as i already had diamonds which her Grandmother gave her and helped with with styles, structure, and metal. We met a few times and i showed him a few styles i liked via email and he drew up a few draft designs till i saw one that was perfect.

I have a vintage rose gold ring of my grand grandmother. I been looking for good GOOD jeweler for last 3 weeks, read tons of reviews on yelp and visited dozens of jewelers. I needed to resize my ring from size 8 3/4 to size 4 1/2 saving antique markings on the ring and mount a diamond which was bigger than opening in ring. Peter Chen mounted the diamond the way I wanted with little of prongs showing, perfectly matched the color of prongs (rose gold), and invisibly reinforced the ring from inside.
