The most challenging part of our wedding was to deal with fire,smoke , delta variant virus. She helped us step by step emailing to venue to organize proper and safe ceremony and reception. We meet Nilou from 3000k miles away on FaceTime and when we met in person it was like we had known each other for a long time. Having Nilou jan perform our wedding ceremony was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had a Persian-American wedding, and it was very important for us to have everyone follow the ceremony and appreciate the details, and Nilou did just that and more by telling our story, reciting Persian poetry in the most beautiful way and explaining the rituals in a fun and concise way. We had an amazing experience with Nilou officiating our wedding a few weeks back. Many of our friends and family members had to attend virtually because of Covid. We talked to Nilou a few times ahead of the event and she helped us personalize the ceremony to a non-traditional format that we were so looking for. Nilou performed our civil ceremony in May. I had seen her at a few friends' wedding before and I already like her a lot. She has a nice voice and is very good at reading poetry. Although I had seen her work before, it did not feel repetitive. She makes the ceremony feel personal and tailored to the couple. I highly recommend her.
