Dr. Townsend graduated Summa Cum Laude from WSU in 1985. She started her practice the same year from her home before moving to our current location in 1991 where we have been ever since. Dr. Kokta graduated from WSU in 2009 and has been practicing here since. She also runs a mobile large animal practice.

I called to make an appointment for my dog Jasper. The person answered the phone with a negative tone (like she didn't want to be there or I was an inconvenience) didn't state her name. She asked if I was a client. I replied that I wasn't; but my brother had recommended them to me. She then informed me that they were not accepting new clients at this time. If that is the case they should post it on their website. If it were my company I would find a more positive and courteous receptionist.

My dog had a mishap at the groomers. They were able to get us in right away. Jester needed a staple to close a wound and they handled it with their usual care and kindness. I have taken all my dogs to Camas Washougal Animal Hospital for 20 years or more. I am always treated well but, more importantly, my dogs have always been treated skillfully and with care and kindness.
