I'm very grateful for the care this clinic gave our toy poodle. After diagnosing a heart murmur, the vet emailed us a long explanation of possible treatment options and what a murmur is and what to look out for at home. She was caring and professional. The clinic gave us an estimate but the final cost was lower than they'd estimated. They were up front about what the costs may be and called us to double check we were ok if additional charges were needed. Happy with their care and service.

I have been really impressed with the time the vets have spent discussing our dog Lily's health with us after appointments. They have been thorough and showed great care.

My GSD broke a molar while we were out of town visiting my family in Vancouver. Orchard Hills got him in the next day to evaluate him and give him some pain meds even though he was a new patient and his primary… vet is 5hrs away! He is a very trained, HIGHLY protective, guard dog and really only knows German. They knew exactly how to work with him and make him comfortable. They were able to schedule him to come back very quickly to get what was left of the tooth pulled. I wasn’t able to stay in town when he went in so my sister and mom had to take him in for me. They were very good

This place is amazing. They have a special quality of care above any other vet specialist we have had in the past. I researched numerous specialist before opting for Orchard Hills because my dog needed a TPLO surgery. Since day one they have been transparent and upfront with all procedures, options, and estimates. Dr. Barger loves the pet's and is such a unique asset to this place. Cara and the rest of the staff are always friendly and patient with my little guy and surprisingly he doesn't mind getting dropped off there as opposed to other places where we would have to drag him out of the car.

Amazing place to take your pet for the best care! They really took my concerns for my dog going under anesthesia seriously and never made me feel like I was asking to many questions or being too worried especially because my dog is a sighthound (greyhound) and can be sensitive to going under. They do the local greyhound rescue's medical care so that definitely put my mind at ease. 100% recommend!

Orchard Hills is affordable and has the best service. My Goldendoodle is so happy to go to the vet, he practically crawls out the window once he realizes where we are. I am oh so grateful for this place! It’s worth the drive from Portland, for sure.

Cannot say enough about how much we LOVE OHAH! They literally saved our 15 year old cat’s life last fall after he developed a bad case of pancreatitis! The level of loving and professional care and weekly follow up calls has been overwhelming and so much appreciated. Our Tibetan Mastiff had a medical emergency while we were visiting family in Washougal. Even though they were booked solid, Orchard Hills managed to squeeze us in and treated our good boy quickly. Dr. Laukkanen was so kind and professional and discussed treatment options with us that fit our needs and budget. Our dog didn’t seem to mind going into… the office, either, which says a lot because he *hates* going to the vet at home. They have been our dogs' go to place for the nearly 19 years we've lived here. Everyone there genuinely CARES for your furry family members. We love them.

They are by far the most competent, professional, compassionate and caring Veterinarians I've ever known. My pets are so much more comfortable with the doctors and staff there than any other place I've taken them. Their fees are very reasonable as well. It's a bit of a trip for me, but worth it.

We made the switch from years of Banfield because I was fed up with the lack of care there. So glad we did... I am so impressed with the vets and staff at Orchard Hills. I feel like my pets are really being cared for. I highly recommend this vet clinic. AND! They have a statue of St Francis of Assisi in the front yard! ❤

For starters I'd like to say the ladies at the front desk are very kind and helpful. The doctor however I am not so sure about. I brought in my elderly 15 year old cat that I've has since a kitten, shes family. We were concerned about weight loss and possible teeth problems. The vet tech didn't take her temperature. Then he looked at her teeth and… said we would need to do blood work more than likely. The vet then came in and told me everything the vet tech already told me. The vet braley even look at her teeth. Or palpate them or anything. She didnt discuss her weight loss which WAS OUR

Vets were very generous with their time & did a great job troubleshooting our dog's needs before & during surgery. The vet techs handled our Husky-mix gently & effectively. The front desk staff were proactive about checking in post-surgery and scheduling follow-up appointments. They were up-front about costs so no surprise bills, even when the surgery was more complex than we anticipated. Great team!
