Mayflower Montessori is a preschool, kindergarten and child care center conveniently located in the heart of Beaverton, Oregon. We offer a structured education program for 2 to 6 year olds that excels in preparing children for 1st grade and beyond. We also offer child care for infants 6 weeks and older.
The Mayflower Montessori infant program is designed for working parents with children 6 weeks to 12 months old. We have experienced teachers and dedicated staff who will see to your child's individual needs. Our excellent teacher-to-child ratios (4 to 1 for infants through toddlers) ensures children are provided with a secure and nurturing environment filled with love and trust.
The teaching staff at Mayflower Montessori truly understands the development of children and realize the importance of using each opportunity as a teachable moment. Our teachers and assistants are carefully selected, specifically trained and directed by the school owners/founders to provide our students with a higher quality of education.
Mayflower Montessori is open 7:00am to 6:00pm year-round to serve parents that are working full-time. We are closed on federal holidays. For our infants, we use an on-demand schedule to ensure that each child's specific needs are met. Children are fed when they are hungry and are put to sleep when they are tired.

7 months ago I toured the school and met Annette, who was the director at that time and heard so many great things about the infant teachers, which caused me to put a deposit down to insure a spot for my son for February after my maternity leave was up. Two weeks ago I go to Mayflower to pick up papers to fill out for him to start February 13th and find that there is a new director, Cindy, and 2 new teachers in the infant room, which made me a little nervous because Cindy was anything but friendly and welcoming. I went in to visit last week to introduce my son to the school and get him ready for
