Steven was absolutely great to work with in filing our taxes. We had gone to H&R Block up until this point and I usually would have to set aside 3-4 hours on a weekend in order to file our taxes. With Steven and his team it is best to be there for the initial consultation, but this is so he can gather an understanding of your particular situation with taxes in the past year. After that, if there are any more questions he will ask by email and respond in an extremely timely manner. I spoke to someone on the phone and the initial call seemed credible. They have a modern website with all of the bells and whistles, and I figured being located in Torrance it would be a little more flexible with pricing.
However, I'm glad I spoke up and asked about the consultation I was going to attend because they charge you just to sit down and talk with them to see if its a fit. I've been a turbo-tax user for the last few years, which means that I tend to procrastinate on filing my taxes until April. This year, however, I had to file an 83(b) election for some stock options and turbo tax didn't have the functionality to process this special paperwork.
