I feel that much of my photography is "art, " as it has been received well in art venues/circles. My photography is appropriate for homes, offices and businesses. In the past my sales for these venues has been extensive. I generally frame the work, although I also sell prints, matted or unmatted. Additionally I often record high resolution digital files on a CD or DVD that a client can then have printed.
One may select from my website or may come to my studio where I am able to display many more images on my computer monitor. I print, myself, the photographs that I sell, except for those that I sell as files on CD's and DVD's. They are printed utilizing state-of-the-art techniques --- archival fine art papers and pigment inks, which assure very long-lasting results.

I have won many prizes/awards in the above exhibitions. My photographs have appeared in The Hartford Courant newspaper, The Sun Sentinel newspaper, and Connecticut Magazine. I was a principle contributor to three editions, five years apart, of the book, "Hartford, New England's Rising Star."
Sixty-four of my photographs, including the front cover photograph, appear in the current book, entitled, "Hartford: Photographic Moments of the People, Places, and Lives in Our Region."A book by Joseph Meehan about capturing motion and time in photography, includes three of my photographs. My home town, Windsor, Connecticut, is noted for its great number of fields of shade tobacco. Shade tobacco differs from other tobacco growing because to create the shade the fields are covered with cloth --- creating vast white tents. Visually, the cloth, the rows of plants (nicotianna tobacum), and the red sheds, make for some very pleasing compositions.
