Dr. Faith Bult was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan as the oldest of five children. Her family, most of whom are now Bellingham area residents, has a very special place in her heart. On most weekends, you can find Dr. Bult taking a weekend trip with one of her nieces or nephews to many exotic destinations.
Our practice can provide a wide range of dental services. Our emphasis, however, is first and foremost - preventative care. This care begins with regular six-month hygiene visits, regular exams and x-rays and, most importantly, a good home oral health routine.

At Dr. Faith Bult's office, we believe that everyone should be proud of his or her smile, and completely unafraid to show their "pearly whites" off! Unfortunately, age and life circumstances often cause your teeth to become chipped and cracked, losing their attractiveness. Yellowing is also common because of dietary choices or age, and this too is an undesirable trait.

The office, in general, is upbeat and really friendly, and is an all-female business (which is great)!. After the first go-around with COVID most or all of the staff had to be let go for the time being, or whatever action was necessary in order for the business to slow or close for a time (not sure how long). It was a shame not to see the pretty faces I’d gotten to know over so many years, but the new staff is just as friendly and helpful, and I’m sure we’ll all become as chummy as with the previous staff members. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Bult for close to 20 years (our kids were about 8). She is an amazing dentist. She has always been honest and ethical in our treatment and in what we need. I have not been to a dentist in over 20 yrs, needless to say I was a little bit nervous. I had a tooth infection and thought I was going in just to have Dr. Faith assess it, send me home with an antibiotic and come back another day. She said I needed 2 teeth pulled, both abscessed. Oh boy, I was very nervous now. Dr. Faith and her team made me feel so comfortable and reassured. The worst part was the shot to numb the area and that wasn't even that painful. There is a lot that could be said about this dentistry practice. Keep in mind that all of them are actually positive! I don't mean to brag but I have been to the dentist a lot!! Most of those were extractions out of necessity. Compared to previous dentists I have been too Dr. Bult has made it acceptionally easy to be a patient. After a two hour long teeth cleaning appointment in which I was led to believe that my teeth were perfectly fine (minus some gum problems and my teeth needing a basic cleaning), I was informed in probably the last 15 minutes that all of a sudden I had five cavities. I have gone to this practice for a year now. I had a front filling done and a month later it broke off. I came back in to get it fixed (for no charge which was good), but 3 months later the filling is yellowing and chipping. I do not drink coffee or eat sugar. When I asked them about this they said it was normal wear and tear and the filling would have to be redone every couple of years.
My insurance company didn't cover all of this filling so I notified the office that I would be contacting the insurance company myself. The office was very persistent on calling me for payment.

10/10 the best dentist ever. I had to get a lot of work done which was really daunting, but they made the whole process so easy. These ladies are so friendly and they genuinely care about their patients. I'm so sad I moved out of town because Dr. Bult and her practice are seriously awesome people and awesome at what they do and I've even contemplated traveling the 6 hours north to continue seeing them.

I can not speak highly enough of Dr. Faith Bult and her staff! My family and I have been patients there for over 5 years, and we look forward to our visits every six months, including the kids! My family has been seeing Dr. Bult for over 15 years and have experienced only outstanding treatment from everybody. From the front desk, the hygienist, the dental assistants, and most of all Dr Faith Bult, they are all great. I used to HATE going to the dentist - but going to Dr. Bult changed all that. I have NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE at Dr. Bult's - even with multiple fillings (did I mention she offers nitrous oxide at a very affordable price?). After never having a cavity, and 6 mos after a previous checkup I had 4, 5, 9, and maybe 3 more. The number kept changing. The filling pits are deep, my teeth are so sensitive that 6 mos later I can still only chew on one side. The billing went ok, but the pain was something out of a horror film and I ended up missing days of work. I can't recommend her as my mouth seems permanently messed up now.

I can't speak for other people, but I always look forward going to the dentist with Dr. Bult as my oral health professional! Her staff makes me feel welcome and as if I am a part of the crew. The staff are always top notch and professional, and will always make sure I am comfortable no matter if I am getting my teeth cleaned or having a cavity filled. And she stands behind her work. If for whatever reason I feel something wrong with my teeth, bite, etc., she will get me in as soon as possible and I never have to pay a fee!

I had to find a new dentist in Bellingham because my school/work schedule did not permit me to go home for my regular check up. I wrote a review for them immediately after my check up and gave them an amazing review. Ten years ago I would have given Dr. Bult's office 5 stars without thinking twice. I moved back to town recently and was down right excited to be a patient there again! Boy had things changed. The office staff is incompetent with insurance, dismissive of concerns and complaints, and just plain rude. I am sure Dr Bult is still a good dentist but totally NOT worth having to deal with the office staff.

Dr. Bult, the front office staff and the technicians have all been great to work with. I originally found Dr. Bult through a friend that is a patient. What a great find! I have lived in Bellingham for awhile and my dental visits have not been great up til recently. Thats when I changed to Dr. Bults office. The waiting room is clean, has nice magazines and there are refreshments available while you wait.
