For over thirty years Dr. Von Hanks has been providing comprehensive general, dental and orthodontic services to help patients achieve a healthy smile. Dr. Von Hanks grew up in Pocatello, Idaho. After finishing Brigham Young University, where he majored in Zoology, he attended the University of Washington Dental School. He graduated in 1989 with a Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS). He established his practice in Bellingham shortly thereafter. Over the years, he has been active in various dental study clubs and has attended numerous continuing education courses.

I have been seeing Dr Hanks for almost 15 years now and have recommended him to many friends. Every hygienist is excellent, they are always on schedule, and I appreciate the way Dr Hanks is calm and to-the-point. No attempts to talk you into unnecessary procedures like some other dentists I’ve seen.
