Nature and beautiful color inspire my photographs. In fact, I could live outside 24/7; A perfect day to me is jet skiing or playing in the snow with my family. Traveling with Jim is one of my favorite pastimes. My challenge is to create images that feel like you can reach out and touch your loved ones.
This is our private family farm- 155 acres of heaven on Earth! My clients LOVE having their portraits taken at the farm because it's such a gorgeous, relaxed setting. Each season is beautiful- Spring: with the new grass and leaves, the rose garden and blue skies. Summer: Bright blue skies, deep green fields and gorgeous trees.
Wow! wow! wow! I am uncomfortable getting my pictures taken, but Whitney did it in a way that I didn't feel staged at any time and she brought out the personalities of everyone! We had a wedding in our backyard and she did a wonderful job of getting the type of photos I wanted and capturing the intimacy, love and friendship that was evident that evening.
Can we be real for a moment? Our best intentions are to hang framed portraits in our homes, make custom graduation announcements and design coffee table books with the beautiful portraits from our photo sessions. But life moves FAST and that obsolete disk or flash drive sits in a drawer until life slows down.

I do not like getting my picture taken, but Whitney was a pro and got the session completed quickly and efficiently. She is very supportive and just talks you through it.

Whitney worked with our camp for kids to take action shots of the children while at camp during the summer. She was at ease working with children and listened to my direction very well. She always produced images that were used in our campaign marketing materials time and time again. She is very well rounded and able to adapt to almost any situation you put her in- - top of the climbing tower- on the back of a ski boat- in a cabin full of kids during devotion time. Would use her again for professional and casual shoots.
