Having been raised on a mix of Gulf Coast and Maryland Style seafood in my household growing up, I feel like I know a little about seafood.
We had come to explore the area and wanted seafood before we left. My husband and I enjoyed the best crab dip i've ever had. We then ordered two specialties (Lobster MacNCheese and Scallops Au Gratin). Talk about over the top cheesy!
Getting bay scallops just right is very difficult, but Sabrine and Josh made them perfectly! The texture was nearly melt-in-your-mouth. Unlike a lot of places that skimp on the lobster when it's served in a pasta dish, the chefs

This place was phenomenal! Our server, Keaisha, was amazing! Very friendly and attentive, especially considering it became very busy while we were there. My boyfriend and I ordered the lobster pot for two, and let me tell you, there was PLENTY of food! Two lobster tails, crab clusters, shrimp, clams and muscles, potatoes and corn. Plus, you get a salad beforehand and a dessert to share! The atmosphere is very laid back and pleasant. We didn't have a reservation, which they asked when we came in, so I would think during peak season you would definitely want to make a reservation. Overall, this place

Great venue overlooking the main beach at Atlantic Beach, NC., and GREAT food! Everything we ordered was fantastic. Conch fritters and coconut fried shrimp apps were excellent. The blackened tuna entrée was cooked perfectly to order (we ordered medium). It's a very thick, meaty piece of tuna that's spiced perfectly and tasted amazing. All great food, but the big hit was the "Sweetie Cajun Shrimp, Claw Meat, Chicken Penne" entrée. Absolutely delectable, one of the best meals I've ever had, truly. Great location, minimal parking. Outdoor seating overlooking the beach. Unfortunately, I was seated off to the side and subsequently forgotten. Took a while to get noticed and provided service. Once I did, though, the service was good. The red sangria was robust and cold. It was late, so I had two appetizers as my meal. The local clams in a white wine sauce with peppers and onions were steamed to perfection. The savory aroma on arrival will make your mouth water in expectation. The gazpacho is the best I have ever had! Truly amazing. The shrimp was excellent and very fresh. The Blackened Local Tuna was also fresh, the pineapple/mango salsa was excellent. The restaurant, like many others, was quite understaffed. The servers that were there working were really trying to do their best in a bad situation. The restaurant has a great view from the outside patio. I would recommend having reservations if you go. We did and no wait, there was a wait for those that didn't have reservations.

You cannot beat the view from their patio! Definitely make reservations or you will have to wait awhile. All the food was delicious. The service was standard. If you don’t love seafood, they also have steaks on the menu. Their cocktail list made me laugh with their creative drink names.
We saw multiple couple and families dining in. The environment was upbeat and you could peak into the kitchen if you are inside.
A lot of their food is made in house, so be sure to save room for dessert at the end! You’ll thank me later.

A very unpleasant experience. Due to a staffing shortage, there were too many people seated to get any kind of service. 45 minutes to just get a drink order. We had been told that the food was good, but, unfortunately it was cold by the time it was served. Nice view of the Atlantic Ocean, if you're seated upstairs; however the stairs inside are extremely steep and dark. It was very hot outside despite the winds that were practically sending the umbrellas flying. (Limited seating on the patio). Prices were above average, but, would have been worth it had it been served in a timely manner. Approximately
