We chose Blackbeards for our 51st anniversary night out for dinner and I am so glad we did. This was our first time going there and this is now our favorite restaurant in the area. The food was outstanding, as was the service and the staff! Everything we ordered was delicious... crab dip, coconut shrimp, fried shrimp, fried sea mullet, crab cake sandwich, shrimp burger, and a delicious homemade strawberry cake. I highly recommend Blackbeards and if you've never been there you should go. I promise you won't be disappointed!

We were in town and stopped here because of the name. Unlucky for us they were not serving raw oysters.. due to Covid? Yet we were given shucking knives?
Anyway…
We had the ahi tuna which came with a wonderful purple cabbage salad.. amazing!
We had the crackin calamari… ok

The crab pie… had a lot of cheese…
They had a banging bar!! Super impressive.

We were thoroughly impressed. Brianna, our waitress, was super cool and our drinks never got empty. Having driven by here for years, I did not know they also owned the seafood market next door. This is now my favorite area restaurant because I love collard greens and fries okra. The outer banks clam chowder was the best I have ever tasted. I could go on and on but, I'm at work as well. Definitely going back. Soon!

Blew our expectations out of the water. Our waitress Brianna was totally cool. The sign said they were understaffed but we didn't notice. Besides we went there to relax anyway.
We were all totally impressed with the food. A menu with collards is my friend. The fish was fresh. The tuna appetizer was awesome. Best down east chowder I've ever had. Can't believe I have been driving by here for years and never knew the quality of food we were missing. Definitely going back soon.

While in Beaufort we wanted someplace fun to eat seafood. We ended up at Blackbeards and very glad we did. Upon entering a sign said short staffed please be patient, so we prepared ourselves and weren't in a hurry. We ended up with Shelley as our waitress and from the time she came to our table, till we left she was AWESOME. She was friendly, accommodating, helpful and understands customer service. It was liking seeing an old friend and she really made us feel welcome. The food was great, plentiful, very tasty and came out fast. We really had an enjoyable evening. The best seafood around! We are local & have made it a tradition to eat at this restaurant every birthday and anniversary. We are never disappointed with the freshness of the seafood, or the deliciousness of anything we order. Not to mention excellent service. We would recommend dining here anytime.
