Additionally, children are gently encouraged to take responsibility for themselves, follow directions, and embrace a life-long love of learning. Preschool and kindergarten programs are held at our Cambrianna site, a former elementary school. This site has very spacious classrooms, 2 playgrounds, a large grass area and courtyard area. Jr. Kindergarten is for children with a late summer/fall birthday that have completed a PreK program.
Services
Georgia Tyson founded A T.L.C. Preschool & Extended Care, Inc. in 1978 with the help of her daughter, Jayne Tyson Davilla. Today, Jayne serves as the school's president and director. The Tyson's have lived in Willow Glen for three generations. Jayne received an AA in Early Childhood Education & a BA in Liberal Studies from SJSU.
Our extended care program is geared toward school-age children with families who request before and/or after school care. During the school year, children who participate in extended care attend Bagby Elementary School. We currently have a waitlist for all grades K - 5. Please contact the office (408) 371-2573 if you would like to be placed on our waitlist.
