The staff at this salon are so rude. I used to get my hair done here & the last time I was sitting in the chair my stylist had told me she didn't even like her coworkers. The staff is so rude that it makes your trip & the overall experience uncomfortable. I gave two stars because the stylist that did my hair does amazing work.

It was my first time at M Salon and I absolutely loved it. Christina completely transformed my hair and i couldn't be more obsessed. I sat in the chair in silence until I tried to strike up a convo with my stylist. She said she was having a bad day and didn’t want to talk. It was awkward, and the owner was screaming at an employee in the back room for most of my cut. She came out in tears. This was a while ago, but I feel the need to share my experience since every review is either 5 stars or 1 star.

I'm so frustrated. I waited over a year to not get my hair cut during the height of the pandemic. When things started opening back up I decided that I liked my hair longer, so I let it go for a while. Finally, I decided it's looking a little shaggy, so I'd find somewhere that could do longer men's styles and M Salon came highly recommended. Baltimore has had the mask mandate reinstated for almost two full weeks now, so you'd think businesses would be back on track, but not M Salon. At least two employees were not wearing a mask at all when I went in, at least 2 more just wearing it on their chin

I went there for a men's cut and style. Having never been there before I used their website to find a stylist that I thought would work. Upon meeting her, I advised her that my hair had been treated with keratin to straighten it. She took me over to wash it and started cutting. Immediately I noticed my hair starting to get really curly. After the cut was finished I said that I was unhappy with how one side of my head had hair cut shorter and angles straight up, while the other side was longer and cut to lay back. She immediately started to get upset and said that she wasn't good enough

She offered lots of advice for my hair type and really got to know me as well as my hair. I absolutely connected with her and will be seeing her in the future for continued cuts and hair care. Thought this would be a good place to take my daughter for a trendy, Joan Jett-esque mullet. My bad. The staff was rude and standoffish in that trendy salon way, but I didn't think too much of it. My daughter told the stylist she wanted to keep it long in the back in a mullet-ish way, and somehow this translated into a brown football helmet a la Sally Field in Steel Magnolias. I didn't even know this haircut even still existed, but it was fully short in the back and poofed at the crown. So I guess now we just have to go yell at Walmart managers that we're not going to wear masks

Went in there to have my hair toned out and bleached. Told her I wanted almost a silverish platinum blonde. And she put random spots of blue and made my hair look like seaweed. At the end, she told me to wait till it just washed off?? They do not know how to correctly color hair. My hair was a vibrant sun and now it's gross Kelpy seaweed. They are clearly not knowledgeable in hair coloring and bleaching. My hair is three different colors: Blonde, blue, and green?? It's all spotty too! I asked for one color. Not multiple, this looks so weird. I work in a professional field, I cannot be showing up

I had an appointment with Brooke to get my hair colored. I showed her the two "inspiration" pictures of what I was going for. I made it clear that I was apprehensive about going darker and even asked to do the least permanent route possible. My hair was already blonde, so to go darker it didn't need to be bleached or anything. I didn't ask for highlights, just an overall darker color. To me, it seems like all she had to do was pick the right glaze or dye color of light-medium brown. She missed the mark by a mile and applied very DARK brown dye to all of my hair (except a few

Every time that I have had my hair cut and highlighted has been a good experience. I've had partial highlights (plus conditioning) and cut with Sophia twice and have loved it both times. Everyone has been super friendly minus the one previous isolated incident, who on the bright side I haven't seen at the salon since.

I have been seeing Kristen for a couple years now and she is amazing. I first found out about her because I was hanging out with a friend who's blonde was always pretty "yellowy" and one day I noticed her hair looked amazing. While visiting Baltimore i decided i wanted to chop all my hair off. I went online did some research and made an appointment online with Kristen Adams. She did such a good job that i almost want to travel to Baltimore every time i want my hair cut. Although the Salon was nice and Kristen was GREAT all the stylist and receptionist did not seem to be too friendly so i was a bit nervous but overall it turned out perfect!

I went to see Brooke for a cut and color. I told her I wanted to go very blonde! She spent over an hour foiling my hair and wasn't rushing the process, which I appreciated. Half way through my appointment it must have dawned on her that she would be having another client soon so her entire demeanor quickly changed. She decided against using toner in my hair, which I trusted her opinion, but she explained that it damages the hair, which I have also never heard from any other stylist. After washing my hair she quickly ran a blow dryer through my hair and left it damp as she didn't have

I started going here about a year ago after a not-so-great haircut at another salon. I was so nervous because I was cutting over 8 inches off my hair and at a new salon but Kelsie helped make me less anxious (the red wine also didn't hurt). I've been seeing her ever since for my highlights and cut every 7-9 weeks.

I had a wonderful experience with Kristen this week! I recently moved to Baltimore from DC and was nervous about finding someone to cut my long hair because I had been going to the same stylist in DC for several years. Shortly before moving, I paid a ton of money for the perfect balayage and wanted to make sure whoever trimmed my hair didn't cut off all of the gorgeous color. Kristen did an amazing job cutting off just the right amount and gave me a fantastic blowout afterwards. I think I've found my new go-to place!

I started going to M Salon about 2 years ago. I would have to say I knew instantly that Christina was going to give me one of the best hair cuts to date. She's full of information, tips, tricks, and cool products. She really takes her time to make sure she gives you a great cut.
At one point in time I questioned whether the expense was worth it. After one trip to another salon, I realized it was. I'll never get my hair cut by anyone else than Christina again.

I've gotten my hair cut by Kimberly twice now and both times she's done an amazing job! Both times I brought in pictures to reference what I'd like and Kimberly has given me the perfect cut each time. If you go into a salon with a photo expecting that exact cut, then you're not that bright. I bring in photos mostly because I'm terrible at describing what it is I want, but Kimberly worked with me to make sure I was happy in the end. She used high quality products that made my hair look like it was straight from a magazine. She's also such a pleasure to chat with.
