Your appointments are very important to our SW Hair Studio team professionals. We hold your appointments just for you and ask that if you must cancel or reschedule any appointment, you please provide us with 48-hour notice. This was my first time going there as I just so happen to find them off of Instagram. I needed my ends trimmed bad! Genene was my stylist and the girl that shampooed my hair was so sweet! Great vibes and also honesty and knowledgeability when it comes to the up keep of natural pressed hair! Some of these hairstylists only care about the buck, Genene and the rest of the staff seemed to really care of the condition of your hair! :) I can't wait to go back for my next appt in two weeks!!

I booked an appointment for my daughter, which was scheduled with stylist named Ameche. My daughters appointment was scheduled for 7/10/21 at 1pm. We arrived to the salon at 12:50pm, we were asked to be seated and wait for the stylist. I decided to leave my teenage daughter to continue to wait for the stylist who still had not arrived by 1:15pm. I received a call from my daughter when Ameche arrived at 1:35pm. I told my daughter she would not be getting serviced due to the lateness, a complete disregard for the clients time. The stylist offered no apology and assured my daughter she could do her

I have been a client at the Shy Waters Hair Studio for 2 years, and have had the privilege of experiencing both Shy and Amecé as stylist; I don’t see that changing in the near future. When becoming a new client you are welcomed with a consultation to discuss your individual hair goals whether it is length retention, protective styling, natural hair care, or color. They listen to your needs and the style is perfectly executed (not all stylist understand that).
