Jake's Quality Auto Repair was founded by Jake Lesnick in 1982. As a teenager growing up in Southern California, owning, revering and showing off a young man's car was a way of life for Jake. This is ingrained in him and now applies to his customers and their cars and trucks. For over 41 years, Jake Lesnick he has been providing excellent service and offering outstanding value to hundreds of customers in the Twin Cities.
Jake is now recently retired and his son Brad is continuing on the Jakes Quality Auto Repair reputation. Brad is a ASE certified master technician with over 20 years of experience. He will work on building a relationship with you and prioritizing your repairs to fit your budget the best he can and will always treat your vehicle as if it were his own.

Brad is trustworthy and honest I’m so thankful he saved me $300! After shopping around for other quotes on tie rods and a wheel bearing I found Brads quote to be the best deal! He squeezed me into his schedule last minute and got my car done the same day I dropped it off. I’m beyond impressed with his service and will be referring friends and family to him. Thanks Brad!

So I'm not even a customer of theirs but on the morning of August 24th, I ended up with a flat tire not far from their shop. I was sitting on the side of the road for over an hour when Cori (sp?) noticed me sitting there. She saw me while dealing with an actual customer. She stopped to see if I needed help. Told her I couldn't budge the lug nuts and my road side assistance was going to be a while. She went back to the shop to call her tow truck friend which didn't pan out but Bryce, their Snap-on tools rep arrived, she explained my situation and bless him, he said he would help. Cori and Bryce

I was having an issue with my brakes, making my car very scary to drive. Brad was booked out for the next couple of weeks, but decided to try to squeeze me in the next day. He fixed the brakes without issue. Unfortunately, I also had an issue with the transmission that I asked him about, but he wasn't able to repair that. No problem, though, as he gave me a couple of referrals to other shops that he trusts.

They were friendly, straight to the point, and took care of what needed to be fixed. Brad was very professional and detailed over the phone on what he found out and was not pushy at all compared to some places. My car ac is now working perfectly in this hot day, will definitely come back and support this family local business!

My husband used Jake’s for the first time this week for a repair and we were both extremely happy with the service that Brad and his wife provided. They are both very friendly and great at what they do. We dropped our car off Wednesday morning and it was ready to go a little later that afternoon. We will definitely go back again in the future.

Brad is a great mechanic! He's very thorough and understands the customer side of things so he communicates every step of the way involved , whether the cost or solution.

Brad was very knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly, and above-standard from what I've dealt with in Mechanics. The shop was small, but well worth it. He went above and beyond. I initially called with questions to do with an oil leak and he went through all of the possibilities and gave me an estimate over the phone (to be verified once he looked at it).
