LIFEforce Counseling Center offers confidential counseling services for adults in a conveniently located private back suite in Roanoke, Virginia. It is the mission of LIFEforce Counseling Center to improve the quality of life for residents in southwest Virginia and surrounding areas by offering a compassionate and inviting atmosphere to help people find real solutions to real problems.
The purpose of LIEforce Counseling Center is to assist clients whose daily activities, interpersonal relationships, and work environments are being negatively impacted by feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, anger, or other challenging emotions. Clients are supported as they embrace LIFE through self-exploration, goal achievement, skills development and personal growth using cognitive-behavioral therapeutic strategies.

D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who conducts psychotherapy with adults. Dr. Finney received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Duke University. She went on to obtain her Master of Arts degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Ohio State University, with specialized training in Behavioral Medicine.
