Services
Rohlk Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Q: Why is preanesthetic testing important? A: Although anesthesia and surgery today are very safe, some risks still exist. By performing a physical examination and conducting some simple tests before putting your pet under anesthesia, we can minimize those risks even further. Our pets can't talk to us and tell us when they are not feeling well.
Many people have questions about various aspects of their pet's surgery, and we hope this information will help. It also explains the decisions you will need to make before your pet's upcoming surgery. Today's modern anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past.

Here at Rohlk Animal Hospital, we do a thorough physical exam on your pet before administering anesthetics, to ensure that a fever or other illness won't be a problem. We also adjust the amount and type of anesthetic used depending on the health of your pet. Pre-anesthetic blood testing is important in reducing the risk of anesthesia.
Rohlk Animal Hospital provides you with a full library of pet medical information from the Veterinary Information Network. VIN is the world's first and largest online veterinary community, where new articles are added weekly by the experts at VIN to make sure that our readers have the most current veterinary information available.

I can’t speak more highly of Dr. Rohlk, Maryann and Nick from the Rohlk Animal Hospital. They have lovingly taken care of my cats from kitty hood to unfortunately losing two over the years. When you walk in the door, you immediately feel the warmth and compassion they have for our pet families. Their fees are very reasonable and have never once felt that they were trying to sell me things I don’t need. Just good people who obviously love what they do!

My little boy cat, Boris, had an eye issue. Got an appointment that morning. Dr diagnosed an ulcer, possibly from rubbing his face on the walls. They sedated, medicated and sent Boris home with drops. He has recovered.
The Doctor, Maryann and Nick are always caring and knowledgeable.

Experienced and caring staff. I have brought all my pets here for the last 20 years. Maryanne at the desk is always a delight to talk to and Nick and Dr. Rohlk provide competent and kind care for my animals, as well as provide sound advice for their well-being and lifestyle. I recommend them to everyone looking for a vet!

I can’t recommend a better place to take your furbabies. I recently had to make the tough decision to lay my baby of 14 yrs to rest. It was a difficult decision to say goodbye but she is no longer in pain. Everyone was beyond compassionate and understanding. They offered condolences and the office cats really help ease your suffering. Animals truly heal our hearts and I will be using them in the future. They aren’t out to charge an arm and a leg, I found them reasonably priced. They also do an excellent job communicating how the process works. Thank you so much to all of you! I should have
