Services
We create wedding cakes and custom desserts in Phoenix, as well as all around the Valley. We know you are eager to start planning your menu. Our first step in the process would be for you to come in for a cake tasting during our hours of operation. During the tasting we will provide our signature flavors of cakes, fillings, and frostings so that those attending can mix and match flavors to get a custom combination that they love!
We are always looking for passionate team members to provide the best service and desserts to our customers. We got our wedding cake here and it was so perfect!
Ordered it a couple months before and I called the day before - just to make sure we were still good to go....and we picked it up the next morning right when I asked - and also picked up a ton of oatmeal and peanut butter cookies (because I coyote resist! )

I loved my wedding cake from A Bakeshop. It was beautiful and delicious! Jessica did a great job with the art deco design. I picked two flavors key lime with fresh strawberries and Banana with caramel. Banana with caramel was a hit. I received a lot of compliments from my guests. They wanted to know where I ordered my cake. They loved it and wanted seconds.

We recently used A Bakeshop for our wedding and they did an amazing job! They made the wedding cake and a bunch of different mini desserts and everything was delicious. The hardest part was picking the flavors for our wedding cake! They were so easy to work with and you really can't go wrong with anything there. I would definitely recommend working with A Bakeshop for your wedding or any event where you need something sweet!

Our wedding cake looked great, but unfortunately it caved in and fell over during our reception. We were able to salvage some of the cake, but we're still really sad because it was such an embarrassing thing to happen during the middle of the maid of honor speech and we wont be able to have the top tier for our anniversary either.

This was my first time purchasing a cake for an occasion and my first time purchasing one from here. I was really excited to present and eat this. However, presentation was pretty plain and the cake was extremely disappointing. I asked for a marble cake with cream cheese frosting (which is what my boyfriend said he loves)... it was dry and didn't taste like cream cheese frosting AT ALL. It could have actually of passed as a Walmart cake but twice the cost. Big rip off in my opinion.

There's just not a better vanilla cake than abakeshop's triple vanilla cake. I try to stay away from sweets and desserts but when I've got a sweet tooth this is top of mind and so worth it. They made me a beautiful birthday cake. I think the secret is the buttercream. Last year I purchased their Easter cookie decor kit and I kid you not I was eating the damn frosting straight out of the piping bag like a child

After looking for bakeshops in and around Phoenix we stumbled on A Bakeshop. We went in towards the end of their day and most of their takeout stock was gone so we ordered what we could: Oatmeal, Peanut Butter and a Sugar Cookie, along with a vanilla cupcake, strawberry and chocolate "mini" cupcake. The price alone for the mini cupcakes is outrageous ($3.50) considering these are much smaller.
The worse part however, was the butter cream used in almost all of the deserts. It was not whipped enough so it was really dense and the ratio of butter to powdered sugar was way off! Everything

Spent way too much for mini cupcakes. We were disappointed- we came here because our regular cupcake boutique was closed. Small cupcakes are wet (very very moist) and fell apart in our hands. Iced cookies were good. Customer service and presentation was great! We just prefer a more substantial, solid cupcake with ample frosting and a novel topping. Ending on a sweet note, the lemon-berry flavor was bold and the cookie dough was a mouthful.

Ordered the cassata cake for Hubby's birthday and it was out of this world! Sort of tasted like a churro. Not too sweet just like I requested, the bad part, not a morsel was left and hubby didn't get to try it. At that price point I didn't want to go any bigger so I bought an ice cream as back up. It was worth every penny. We'll be back to try their other flavors, just not with customized design.

I gotta say this is probably the best bakery I've been to. I've tried soooo many bakeries! And this spot will be my go-to bakery. The cake was awesome! Very moist, rich cake and cupcakes. The whipcream frosting was just this right amount of sweet. I placed my order online which was very simple. I ordered a 10inch triple chocolate cake w/whipcream frosting and 12 chocolate eclair cupcakes. On the day of pick-up there were no issues the cake was ready along with my cupcakes.I would definitely recommend this bakery. I was VERY happy with my cake/cupcakes. The woman behind the counter was very friendly

We wanted a little something sweet and came to a bakeshop. The parking is shared with other businesses and is cramped and busy. The shop is super cute and simple. We were quickly greeted and helped. They have cupcakes, macarons, cookies, bars and pops. Plenty of options. We got 6 mini cupcakes, cookies and macarons. Everything was almost $50!! Lol pricey but everything tasted great!
Cupcakes were small but perfect. We got 2 vanilla, 2 strawberry, a lemon raspberry and an Oreo. They were all moist and a big swirl of icing on the top. The icing was a little dense but good. The flavors of the cupcakes

I walked in literally crying because Barb's Bakery ruined my wedding cupcakes for my social distance wedding. We needed nice cupcakes THE SAME DAY. The staff here was sooo professional, kind, and caring. They made the nicest white rose cupcakes with gold flakes for us that same afternoon. THANK YOU A BAKESHOP FOR SAVING THE DAY!!

We used A Bakeshop for our gender reveal cake and they did a fabulous job! The cake was delicious (confetti), as well as the buttercream frosting. They allowed me to send them a picture of a cake design I liked and they did a wonderful job replicating it. I highly recommend them, and I hope to use them again in the future!

We have three birthdays in our house for April. And we always celebrate them individually and with COVID-19 we decided to support local businesses as much as we can. So I ordered my husband's cake here more than a month in advance so they would have some business.
When I went into order the cake I was excited cause I was gonna buy something that day too. But there was nothing in the case at all. I first tried their yummy mini cupcakes & cactus shaped macaroons at a yelp event and have had them several times since! Staff is always welcoming! Cute Instagram friendly store front just draws you in!

They are taking orders for an adorable Valentine's Day cake with sprinkles & two macaroons on top!! Almost to cute to eat!!
