GS HAIR's namesake, Greg Saumure owns the 3-chair boutique salon at 2398 Fair Oaks Blvd., Suite 9, Sacramento, CA 95825. We are a small team of highly dedicated salon professionals who routinely help each other with busy schedules. Stylists who work with us are independent contractors who schedule and book their own clients through their respective businesses.
There are currently only 6 Vidal Sassoon Academies in the US. These institutions are in Santa Monica, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago and New York. There are also Academies in the UK, Canada and Germany. The elite 1600 hour, 44-week course, prepares you for a career befitting Vidal Sassoon credentials.
A great time to have the treatment done would be directly after permanent color, semi-permanent or highlights. The treatment will extend the life and seal the color in, leaving it vibrant, however, for demi-gloss or toners have color done 3-5 days after treatment for optimal results. Q: Can the treatment be done on chemically treated hair, previously relaxed or straightened hair?

I have seen Greg three times now for my naturally wavy fine hair for precision haircuts, highlights and low-lights. I am hoping to see him soon for Fall hair. He's very skilled, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The salon is chic. Parking is easy. I park across the street. I have gone to many salons in the past 13 years since moving up from SoCal and I must say Greg's skills are excellent and worth it. Everyone else who works there is kind. I am looking forward to seeing him soon

Greg, Vidal Sassoon himself couldn't have given me a better hair cut, I now look well-coiffed. The three different Pinterest images I showed you, came out with perfect precision. You and the staff are very engaging and personable, such a nice and welcoming atmosphere, and the location is great, since I was a little early I enjoyed a nice walk. Thank goodness my search is over, I found the epitome of perfection. I love all the point cut, it makes styling for my type of hair such a convenience. Thank You again, see you in a few months.

I usually hate getting my hair done since most stylists do what they want and not what you ask them to do. Since I lost my stylist a couple decades ago, getting my hair colored and styled has been like a visit to the dentist.
I explained to Greg what I had in mind and he actually made it happen! Absolutely love my hair! I will be going back to Greg again for certain.

I had the worst experience with Victoria ... I had beaded row extensions placed and they not only pulled out my hair but after one week looked as though my hair had grown out for a month. No only did she do a horrible job with extensions but when shd colored my hair it turned pink. I am so disappointed in her work and her attitude. When I asked for a refund she would not refund me so I could get her worked fixed. The new hair stylist I went to also stated I had been ripped off and she was so sorry. Please do not see Victoria because you will not only be so unhappy but lose more hair. I never write

Greg was my hair "god" for awhile. Then I lost him when he moved locations. I was devastated, but my hair was mortified! For the last couple years I had tried to find a Greg replacement, but I was always disappointed, and left with bad hair. Then one day I was searching Yelp and found GS Hair again, and my hair God Greg! Today I had an appointment for just a cut so Greg could see the wreck I have been sporting without him. Even with just a cut my hair looks 1,000,000,000,000% better! Greg is amazing! His work is absolutely top notch!!! I've missed him so much, and my hair has suffered

I foolishly tried another hair stylist through Groupon to save more money and boy was that a mistake! The so called "stylist" butchered by bangs and ruined the texture of my hair. I went to back to Greg with my gnarly-haired head hanging low and he instructed me on what to deep condition my hair with every week. Slowly but surely my hair was finally nice again as well as the color that he also had to repair.
Moral of the story: When it comes to your hair, don't cut corners

Victoria brought my hair back to life! My hair had been gradually turning more and more orange to the point where I only wore hats out in public cause the color was so off.
When I came in to see Victoria she was super nice and reassured me that she could help correct the color! She even took the time to walk me through the whole process of what steps she was going to take to get my hair back to a color I wanted!
She was able to save my hair, and I left feeling amazing! I'll definitely be coming back to her for my next color touch up!

I have curly, gray (mostly) hair, and if you have either of those, you know how badly your hair can be cut...Seven years ago, I discovered Greg. We've gone through a few variations, but my hair has always looked great, and I think we've settled on a permanent style. Greg is great! My only concern is that someday he might decide to retire...which would be a disaster.

I went here to get highlights in my hair as I have done at various places previously. I came to find that after i went to my appointment, not even half of my hair was highlighted(Only the top pieces were), and they had made me spend $200+ on it. I do not recommend coming here as it is all too expensive and the people there only care about the money and what they think your hair should look like as opposed to what you actually came there to get for yourself. Maybe you may go here if you are willing to throw A LOT of money on your hair, but me personally after going here, I wish I had gone to Paul

Greg is a true hair artist and an incredible talent! I love the fact that he loves long hair-kind of hard to find in this biz!! I have really thick hair that may be a challenge for some, but he knows exactly what to do with it. I never leave disappointed & I've finally found a stylist where I can say "Do whatever" and I'll still love it!! Not only is he a master at haircutting but he's a great colorist as well. Susie cut my hair last week and did such an amazing job! When I went in for a consultation I explained how I wanted my thick hair layered and she understood exactly what I was (poorly) explaining, which put me at ease. I did a donation to locks of love, so the cut was free. Still, Susie took her time to make sure that my new short cut looked just right. She was very skilled and talented in the way that she layered and thinned out the ends of my hair. I have gotten so many compliments on my new style. She really knows what she is doing, and I will be going back any time I need something done to

I have had horrible hair salons. LET ME TELL YOU... As a platinum blonde I have had my hair turned orange then purple, then had to fix my hair on my own.... So I went from blonde to brunette here, with a groupon, and she did a great job.. BUT two weeks later my hair is WAYYY lighter and she said it would be and that it would not get lighter until 6-8 weeks (which is why I had it dyed way darker) and it looks all weird now :/ like light weird colored at the bottom and dark up top.. My hair has always been a PAINNNN, and this place somehow made it better. :/ I really did just want it to be all one
