Are you struggling with increased anxiety, grief related to the loss of a loved one or a recent life transition? Or are you an athlete or performer wanting to break through creative blocks enabling you to perform at your highest mental and emotional level and get back to your peak performance and creativity?

If so, I would be honored to be a partner in your healing journey. Through my own struggles after multiple deaths in my family, moving and starting my career I came to the realization I needed support and guidance. Although difficult, taking what I then saw as a risk to reach out for help upon later reflection was one of the wisest choices I've made in my life.
Services
Counseling individuals through life's many transitions has been part of my spirit since grade school. In third grade I broke up a fight between two classmates, a friend who witnessed this interaction said to me "you should become a counselor." At the time, I'm not sure either of us knew what being a counselor meant, but the fight and my friend's words set me in a direction toward what would become my life's work.
What is Brainspotting? No, it doesn't give you spots on your brain. Brainspotting is a powerful technique used in psychotherapy for everything from athletic performance enhancement to working with trauma. If you've heard of Brainspotting and want to better understand it, or if you've never heard of it but want to be aware of the different psychotherapeutic modalities out there, this episode is a must.
Brainspotting is a powerful and effective method of identifying, processing, and releasing various types of trauma. It can be utilized in combination with talk therapy or as a stand-alone healing method. I have been astonished at the deep level of healing that clients have achieved in a relatively brief amount of time utilizing Brainspotting.
I was recently interviewed on Therapy Chat about how Brainspotting can be utilized to enhance sports and creativity enhancement. Past traumatic experiences can sometimes have a negative effect on performance. Classic talk therapy often falls short in helping an athlete or performer rid themselves of these negative effects and reach their maximum potential.
Grief over the loss of a loved one often has an overwhelming effect that makes us feel there is nowhere to turn for comfort or understanding. From the beginning we wonder how we are going to cope with such a loss. Even as we begin to get our feet back underneath us, well meaning friends and loved ones may have "moved on" or do not know how to support us.
