Lithonia Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital which also provides equine medical and surgical services. Lithonia Animal Hospital is located in Lithonia, GA (DeKalb County). The hospital was established by Dr. Edward Ray Wright in 1972. Our mission is to provide high quality veterinary medical and surgical services through a responsive, professional staff.
We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership to all types of pets including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, mice, sugar gliders, rats, and other various rodents. Services
In addition to caring for dogs and cats, we see birds, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, mice, sugar gliders, rats, and other various rodents. Dogs are walked individually twice daily. We emphasize proper dental care as this is important for improving quality and length of life for small animals.

I’m not giving this rating on the basis of whether or not Dr. Wright is competent and or capable. He is absolutely a wonderful doctor and has mastered his craft as well as his bedside manner. My rating is solely based upon the ridiculously exorbitant prices that are charged. I’m old enough to understand that nothing is free and one must make a living. However, when you can do a little (very little effort is needed) research/comparison shopping and find 5 or 6 other establishments offering the same services and qualifications but at prices that are reasonable and affordable it’s a no brainer

Thanks for printing and giving docs to my family so we could take our dog Mars to Hawaii. They (I think it was Ashley or Amanda) was willing to call me back when phone reception was terrible and even helped by checking with someone else on if her info was correct.
