Services
Carroll Engineering, Inc. offers surveying and civil engineering services. We provide boundary and topographic surveys, public and private site civil engineering design, public works improvement engineering, and construction support. The President of the firm is Robert Henry. Robert is a Registered Civil Engineer with 22 years of Land Development and Public Works Engineering experience.
We have extensive project experience in site development projects providing design and project management for a variety of school sites and university campuses, both public and private, as well as public works improvement projects and private commercial and residential projects. As a small firm, we are committed to providing the responsive personal service that our clients throughout the Greater Bay Area require.
Carroll Engineering has provided a number of surveying and engineering design services for various commercial and community projects including the Bascom Avenue Library for the City of San Jose, 7 Trees Shopping Center, several McDonald's restaurants, Taco Bell sites, office development at Branham and Kirk in San Jose, and a retail project at Blossom Hill Road and Snell Avenue in San Jose.
Carroll Engineering has designed over 300 school projects, from single portables, modernizations and renovations to complete campus overhauls and new campuses as large as 50 acres. Working with the School Districts and/or Architects, we ensure that the project scope and objectives and budgetary constraints are clearly defined.
Although as a company we do not see a lot of business in providing Elevation Certificates, we do provide that service. As a Licensed Land Surveyor, Philip C. Wootton has completed hundreds of Elevation Certificates. Most of the time, Elevation Certificates are required by residential lenders when buying or selling a home that is located in what FEMA has determined to be at risk of a "100-year" flood event.

We have been dealing on and off with Carroll Engineering now for 3 years. (primary Philip Wootton) He is very professional in his work. He takes his time to make sure he dots his i's and crosses his t's. Over the years I have noted (in my humble opinion) that everyone that works there have high moral standards and are very ethical, exactly what I like to see in a company.
If you are looking for civil engineers or if you just need your land surveyed I would highly recommend them. A+ all day, every day.
