Fortress works on office buildings constructed new or via tenant improvements, airports, entertainment venues, military buildings, laboratories, school, hospitals and all other types. From underground only, to single story to skyscrapers, we've worked on projects of all sizes.
From Pump Stations to Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Plants, Water Pollution Control and all other types of water projects, Fortress has designed pipe supports for small bore to large bore, and Foul Air supports inside and outside of structures, and the concrete and steel pads and structures around the piping systems.

Initially constructed in 1968, it has since expanded its service and treatment capacity greatly. It has grown from 10 MGD of treatment to 38 MGD as of 2016. It has also begun supplying water to both Lake Oswego and Tigard, Oregon. The plant is also designed for energy renewability and efficiency as a result of this expansion.

Marcus is the founder and CEO/President of Fortress Structural Engineering. After graduating from UC Davis with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and UC Berkeley with a Masters Degree in Structural Engineering, Marcus worked for a structural engineering design firm and then for an international manufacturer of construction products and services.
