Monica still demonstrates the same level of enthusiasm as she did when she started in the dental field in the early 1990's. Monica is cross trained in dental assisting as well as business management and insurance. Her current position as office manager allows her to use her technical knowledge to assist patients with a complete understanding of the services which have been provided.
We provide most dental service available for your oral health. In the event that we feel the procedure you require is outside the scope of our expertise, we will refer you to a specialist who can better treat your needs. After the specialist has completed the recommended treatment for you, our office will be ready to handle your follow-up care.

In order to treat each and every patient, as an individual with unique dental needs it is vital to completely assess their current oral health.
Nielson Dentistry is a state-of-the-art dental office. It has been designed from the ground up to exceed your expectations. Some of our features include: Digital X-ray which appear instantly with no waiting and require 5 times less radiation than film X-rays. Personal TV monitors for educating you about your teeth and entertaining you during treatment.
Most of your children's dental needs can be done in our office. Dr. Nielson is a general dentist, however having 5 children of his own, he is very comfortable treating all ages. We generally recommend children come for their first appointment around 2 years-old. These early appointments allow our youngest patients to feel comfortable and explore the office.

Just got home from my first visit with Dr. Nielson and if I could rate him higher than 5 stars I would! He was kind, gentle and not pushy. I need ALOT of work done and he gave me a clear plan that works for me. Brandi, his assistant was wonderful as well! She was knowledgeable and informing and made me feel right at home. Hands down the best dentist. I have had a few really bad experiences at other dentists in my past and Nielson and his amazing staff are the most kind hearted compassionate crew. Even making appointments you get great service with Monica. I let my dental work get behind because of my immense fear reactions mixed with embarrassment of the fact that I'm scared. They have gone above and beyond working with me and getting my dental health back under control. Dr. Nielson himself is a wonderful doctor and his services are great! But his front desk person Monica is the most rude, nasty, passive aggressive person I've ever encountered. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. She loudly harassed and attempted to embarrass me about a payment that I'm not able to make at the moment. If she cared enough to ask why I was behind I would've explained that I am the only one working in my household since July and my family is living off of one income for the time being. I called a few minutes ago because I was recommended to Dr. Nielson by a coworker and before I could get the details out, I was cut off (by Monica) and told that new patients aren't being accepted. I guess that's a nice problem to have but not for me. Left my last place because they were rude too. Guess my search is back on. SMH

Went to Dr. Nielson for a crown. Against advisement of American Dental Association, Dr. Nielson put me completely under for an hour and a half using Nitrous Oxide. The ADA states Nitrous Oxide should be given only to calm patient while still being aware. When I asked to speak to Dr. Nielson the next day he refused to come to the phone. Monica (receptionist) stated he was very busy and wanted to know what the problem was, When I asked to talk to the Doctor, Dr. Nielson never came to the phone. oh, ohhhhh Monica later told me Dr. Nielson told her we talked during the procedure. Finally got sick of all the corporate dentists controlling most of the market. They make you feel like family from the first visit. My father in-law came to visit from out of state and had an issue with a crown. They fit him in same day and didn't even charge, unbelievable I know. Dr Nielson is at the top of his trade and he surrounds himself with the most exceptional team I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment today :)

Dr. NEILSON and he staff are fabulous. They not only do everything they can do make you feel comfortable but they don't try to get you to do a bunch of unnecessary stuff just to make more money. Dr. Neilson sat with me and explained everything clearly and he has actually been able to calm my terrible fe a rate of the dentist. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Our whole family has been going to Dr. Nielson for 8 years. We can't say enough good things about him and his staff. The hygienists do a great job. They run on time and make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Dr. Nielson is kind, friendly and skilled. My kids look forward to going to the dentist - he is awesome with people of all ages. My family have been patients of Dr. Nielson since 2011. We came to him with extremely high standards and he has gone above and beyond our expectations. I love that when I call the office Monica knows who I am and all my family members. I also love that when we all see Amy for our 6 month check ups she remembers conversations from our previous appointments. Dr. Nielson and his staff make us feel like we are important to them.
