Reston Sunrise Dentistry
Sedation Dentistry is a wonderful choice for patients who have mild to intense fear about their dental treatment. There are different levels of sedation which range from relaxing and calming you to putting you in a deep sleep during your visit. Crowns strengthen damaged teeth, allowing them to function normally again.

When crafted from today's high-tech porcelains (dental ceramics), crowns are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth. A clear alternative to braces that allows you to improve your smile discreetly. We have two options for braces: one is the clear aligners allowing your teeth to move discreetly, and the other is smart braces technology that improves your teeth in half the time compared to traditional metal braces.

It is estimated that by the year 2020, twelve million Americans will be diagnosed with Alzheimer's Dementia. Ten percent of people over 65 are diagnosed with Alzheimer's Dementia. By age 85 that number increases to 50% and those 85 and older are the fastest growing segment of the population. If you or someone you love has Alzheimer's Dementia, you know how forgetful they can be.
Taking all children and even some adults to the dentist can be a very stressful experience. For those parents and caregivers who have a child with an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) these appointments can be even more traumatic. Taking adult and children with ASD to the dentist can trigger large amounts of anxiety, which is understandable.
Our experience with down syndrome patients us taught us that early to severe periodontal disease is often seen with onset in the mid to late teen years. Some studies report an incidence of periodontal disease to be between 90 and 96% of adults with Down syndrome. This is related to a compromised immune system in Down syndrome.
