We are continuously purchasing and upgrading our imaging equipment and offer the full spectrum of radiology services such as: PET, MRI (Open High Field MRI for claustrophobic patients, high quality Closed MRI, 3 Tesla, and MRI wide bore), Breast MRI, Breast Biopsy, CAT Scan, Nuclear Medicine, Thyroid Biopsy, Ultrasound (including Arterial Doppler and Echocardiograms), Digital Mammography, Fluoroscopy, DEXA Scans and Digital X-Rays.
United Medical Imaging Healthcare is contracted with all major Health Plans. We accept private insurance, HMO, Medicare, Personal Injury and Worker's compensation cases and participate in plans affiliated with Covered California, as part of the Accountable Care Act. We also offer competitive cash prices for patients without health insurance.
Please BRING previous reports and Mammograms, X-Rays or scans related to your current exam. CT patients may require IV and/or oral contrast. Please review with your physician and/or UMIH staff if you have any questions regarding contrast, at least 24 hours prior to your exam.
Patients with asthma, diabetes, kidney disease, severe allergies, or a history of prior contrast reaction, MUST notify the front desk staff and/or technologist prior to their exam.Patients with prior adverse contrast reaction MUST have their referring physician contact our office about pre-medication.

Beware of RACIST techs especially if you are SWANA. This happened 01/12/2021. This was my first time going there. An early to mid-twenties ultrasound tech with a blond high ponytail started acting off right when I was entering the exam room with her making a scene saying "ma'am are you alright? Can you hear me?!" which I found strange and confusing since there was nothing indicating that I wasn't well nor am I an elderly person! I answered "Yes, why wouldn't I be?" and she says "you weren't responding when I was talking to you" which was not true

Dropping two starts due to them dropping the ball sending my ultrasounds results to my provider.
Had an ultrasound with them on Friday. Everything was fantastic. The lady told me to give them 2-3 business days for the results to get to my provider. Ok, I can live with that. Gave them plenty of time to fax my results and called my doctor on Wednesday to schedule my appointment. You can understand my surprise when they told me UMI still hasn't faxed them anything (4 days later). Called UMI on Thursday, they told me they faxed the results to my primary doctor so maybe that's why my OBGYN

I've been coming to this location for a few years now! The techs are very nice extremely patient (I'm claustrophobic and get nauseous with the contrast) and they make you feel like family! I have MS so I get scanned 2/3 times a month. We have all gotten to know each other by now lol never have I left unhappy or disrespected. The facility is very clean, everyone is very professional and they respect your privacy to the "T". I really hope this location never closes down! I drive an hour just for this location even though there is a another UMI literally 4 minutes from my house

WOW! what a service! the site is beautiful with two MRIs (high field 3 tesla and high field Open) and all other modalities . Courteous & professional staff, very clean facility, well prepared and equipped for COVID. They go out of their way to make sure you have a positive experience while in their offices. I was I and out in less than one hour for two MRIs. I definitely had a great experience and would highly recommend not only this location of UMIH, but all other locations throughout southern California. I give them 100% in customer service and taking care of patients!

I arrived late without appointment and they were very busy but Eurie sung was so friendly and accommodating to me and all patients . She still made sure they saw me and took care of me and she helped me so much to take care of healthcare needs. And they love what they do here so they are patient and nice .. now I only come here and highly recommend this facility UMH

Hah someone please tell me they had excellent customer service from Laina? I tried to schedule an appointment for an MRI and she sounded so miserable. If you don't want to be at work, she was asking for my DOB and my last name with such an attitude. And then she gave me a sigh, like she was annoyed, why the hell would I want to go this office? No thanx, someone please replace Laina

Worst experience ever .. I scheduled st scan and when I get there there is problem with code blah blah .. I didn't get my procedure.. I called them almost week ago said make sure call my insurance and confirm everything.. their answer was yes we will .. people suffer pain and disease .. every day and hour important for them to address issue.. they showed irresponsible and no care .. don't recommend this place to anyone ..

I went to this location for an ultrasound and they were the earliest available in the area. There is a checker outside the door in full coveralls doing screening before entry who was extremely pleasant and professional. Office staff is kind. Only 1 person inside waiting area with enough room to be distanced. I wish UMI had an online appointment system and a central system so you don't have to call each location for their availability. Also, I wish they listed the brand and models of the machines they have available at each location. Other imaging places do this.

Had a neck MRI Scheduled. I was already in a lot of pain due to a UTI and severe headache. Arrived and had at least 15 pages of paperwork to fill out. Had MRI in an open machine, but I am claustrophobic so I brought my eye mask. Per usual the Technician told me to squeeze the bulb and she would come right in. I was told the test would take about 15 min. I started to panic after 10 min. Tried to hang on and calmed myself. Once the MRI was finished it was quiet and I assumed she would come in right away and pull me out. No one came in. I pressed the bulb, no response. I pressed it again and again

If I could give a ZERO I would! NEVER in 30 years of procedures EVER have I had such RUDE and abrasive people. They "refused" to schedule my MRI DESPITE Aetna personally calling in to verify codes and Dr approval! They demanded the physical "DR Order" and would not accept EviCore and Aetna approvals. Additionally, the 2nd female YELLED at me on the phone then I hung up. I submitted a written complaint with them AND advised EviCore of their behavior and switched facilities to Scripps in Oceanside. Thanks, I'll drive 40 miles out of my way! Save your time and gray hair

Came here for a chest X-ray. While they accept walk-ins, I made an appointment Via the telephone and managed to get one the same day.
The process was pretty effortless and quick. I got the CD straight after my appointment (it took about 10 mins to process).
There is paperwork to be completed so go ahead of time.
Parking lot with free parking available.
