Regular exams and cleanings ensure your mouth is healthy and sparkling. Amy M. Killeen, DMD, in Walkersville, Maryland, provides an an array of services, including dentistry for the entire family. Included in your exam is a head and neck cancer screening. An intra oral camera exam with intra oral photography allows you to see a full picture of your mouth.
At fifteen years young I was given my first job as a dental assistant. I loved the environment and decided in those moments that I would become a dental hygienist. After two years of college I figured why not go for the gusto.
In 1976 I became a registered Dental Hygienist, 1978 I graduated from California State Teachers College with a BS of Education of Dental Hygiene, and finally in 1982 I received my dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh.Immediately after graduation I delivered my first child, our son Kevin.

I read the bad review on Yelp and was very surprised, to say the least. I have been to many different dental offices during my life, including a grandmother, uncle and cousin, who were all dentists. I certainly recognize poor care vs. quality care, Dr. Killeen and her staff offer a very personable and friendly office environment, along with excellent quality care. Dr. Killeen is perhaps the ONLY dentist that I've seen in the past 30 years that has offered sensible, intelligent options for care, and NEVER recommended an unnecessary treatment or service! My previous dentist had move out of state so my husband and I had to find a new dentist. My husband found this office from a co worker. I absolutely love this dental office. They make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Would highly recommend Dr. Killeen to anyone looking for a dentist who actually cares about your well being and not just about making money.

Without a doubt, I have never regretted visiting a dentist more than I regret visiting this one. She pushes products/service outside of the range of her expertise and does not stand behind them when they fail and cause harm. She is the only dentist I have ever considered suing. I am definitely worse off for having visited this dental office.
