I ordered non veg thali and I liked what they served and that’s why I give 3 stars but my friend ordered veg biriyani and it was so bad, it felt like they just added paneer pieces from top without even frying or cooking and the rice was also not cooked properly so I guess this is not a place for biriyani.

Excellent!
We have been visiting this restaurant for sometime now and very pleased with what's served on the table.
Here is why I rate this place 5 star:
1. Food is served hot.
2. Every food preparation we tried was simply delicious.
3. Entree portions are adequate.
4. Quality is maintained.
5. Staff is respectful and courteous.
This has become our favorite goto indian restaurant in the area.

My unbiased opinion
Style: South Indian
I enjoy their Thali's. Both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian. They are by far the best in the Triangle, for thaali's The platers are neither fully North-Indian, or South-Indian. They are a bit confused in this section. The South Indian food, Idly, Dosa, Vada etc. are authentically South Indian. The vegetables in the thali could be a shade better. Very often they are gruelly and taste the same. You do not see distinct chuck of vegetables in the bowl.
Service is a shade poor. Understaffed maybe, and more on the phone.
They have the best Indian Curd on their

I ordered food from Lapakshi several times but this was the first dine-in experience and it was excellent. The Non-Veg thali is one of the best in Triangle area. It had 4 different non-veg dishes along with 4 veg, rice sweet pudding and papadam. Some might feel it a bit costly but the quantity is more than what a single person can eat.
We also order kadai Paneer and it was delicious too.
The owner was super polite and even suggested stopped us from order another dish explaining that the food we ordered already was more for two.
Overall, a very good experience and I'd go again.

My takeout experience has been nothing short of amazing, and it's a huge bonus that they're open later in the evening. I much prefer this place over Dharani for takeout.
Their dosas and biryani are really tasty - highly recommended.

I ordered Veg & Non-Veg Thalis for take out. Personally, I enjoyed my non-veg thali a lot. Their veg-thali is great as well however only thing is it is pricy. Only one chapati and it was small. When we opened our packets, we were surprised. Thankfully we had some frozen Parathas so we used that. Would I try again? For flavor, definitely yes and no doubt about it. For value for money. May be :)
Yesterday evening I picked up Idali Sambar mysore masala dosa & Palak Paneer. It was my first time in my life that I had to throw entire Palak Paneer!!! Worst ever (I am sorry!) it was tested like we were

Worst food ever. Felt like I went to the restaurant to only pay the bill for the food I never ate properly. Been in RTP for two years and since I haven’t been to Lepakshi, wanted to give it a try today evening (Aug-24-2021) . It’s the worst Indian food I ever ate in these two years.
My order :
1. Rava masala dosa - no rava, it’s a papad.
2. Chana bature - looks like a deep fried samosa
It’s horrible. Can’t describe no more. Please improve the quality.

Restaurant is located near to RTP.. menu has variety of items to explore.. specials you will be offered veg thali and non veg thali for lunch. Weekends they are offering different specialties as per menu.. ambiance is good with projector in play. They have a large capacity seating for dine in. Food taste is ok and they can improve it. Guessing due to limited resources the service is delayed for sometime. Prices are too high for thali’s..
my experience-I feel we are paying more bucks than what we get for especially thali’s .. It is not worth of $20 for non veg and $19 for veg..for white rice

I have been visiting this restaurant frequently for couple of weeks now for breakfast which has been pretty good. Tastes very authentic South Indian. Had a Vegetarian Thali yesterday, which was pretty good as well in terms of taste and more than enough portion was served.
