Honestly this place is like that super pretty gal you dated that one time and is probably not worth the headache. The appliance's and furnishings are okay but the noise I consistently hear from neighbors both down and upstairs was maddening. The management will send out last minute notifications for apartment and has done that hours before they enter your home. Being out of normal city limits you will experience lengthy power outages and internet outages often. Snow plows literally push the snow off of the road and inbetween the cars if contracted which means you may not be able to access your

We really enjoyed living here. We were around for a couple years and from initial tour to move out inspection, the management was professional and helpful. They were very military friendly, going above and beyond to ensure SCRA rights were properly upheld. They worked with us on any issues we raised and were fast and effective on fixing maintenance issues, even working out alternative options for work schedules beyond their office hours. The apartment itself was clean and affordable. We cannot say enough good things about Gateway!

This is a great place to live! The property has a good location, is well kept, the apartments are spacious, and plenty of amenities on site. Austin, Briana, and Phil are excellent staff. They always work hard with you if any(rarely) issues come up to ensure it gets handled quickly. Highly recommend!

I just recently moved back to Rapid City and chose to live at Gateway Apartments for a few reasons..
Briana and Austin were excellent from the beginning starting with my application to move in. They were accommodating and understanding considering I was moving from out of state.
Gateway is pet friendly with out restrictions, which was a problem had found in other complexes I was looking at in Rapid City.
The apartments (in and out) are well taken care of and it’s quite and peaceful.
Brian, from maintenance, came and fixed my dishwasher within a day, and was super considerate of my privacy

For someone in the military looking for a place to stay, I would highly recommend Gateway Apartments. The maintenance and staff are very accommodating and have taken care of everything I have asked them to. This is the only place that would allow my Great Dane and it has turned out to be an amazing living facility. The neighbors are nice and it's a very quiet place. The fitness center and spa are great areas to hang out late at night. I can't wait for the fire pit to be added later this month.
