In an effort to protect our staff and the families we serve, and in an effort to follow guidelines laid out by medical and governmental authorities, Jeter & Son Funeral Homes will continue to serve those who have lost loved ones; and we ask for your help in doing so. If a death occurs, please contact us by phone.
There are many questions and concerns which can be addressed over the phone, and there are documents we can obtain by email and electronic signatures. If it is necessary to make an appointment and come into our office, please keep the total number of people to no more than 4 so we can maintain social distance.

Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.
You talk about many things with your loved ones: from day-to-day details to big events. Sharing stories with those who matter most isn't just important today; it will be especially significant when it's time to honor and commemorate your lives. Meaningful memorialization starts when loved ones talk about what matters most: memories made, lessons learned and how they hope to be remembered.

They did an amazing job on my father's funeral viewing...he passed suddenly after only being in Texas a short time and they made everything so easy...they took the time to really listen and understand what I wanted and we're very prompt about calling when the death certificate was in...I stayed a few times just to talk to the wonderful people there...it was a great experience and great farewell to my father

Tim Jeter and staff did a great job and took care of everything related to our Dad's service!! They were there every step of the way and answered any questions that arose. Assisted us with obtaining local clergy and accompanied us to the National Cemetery to ensure everything went as planned. Highly recommend Jeter and Sons!!

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Don't come here expecting them to have compassion or provide you with resources if you cannot afford 5 grand to rent a coffin. That's right... rent. The way he explained burning her body and using a blender like device to grind her bones is exactly what we all needed to hear 2 hours after her death. Just don't. Go someplace else.
