Hi, I'm Dr. Mark Halboth, President of Awesome Dental Care. I'm a graduate of the University of Michigan. I started my practice in 1985 and over the years we have expanded our facilities to better serve our patients. WE are now known as Awesome Dental Care of Livonia, MI. I am passionate and excited about all phases of dentistry.
Dr. Mark S. Isler graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy's six year Inteflex program in 2005, where he received his Bachelor's of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. After graduation, he practiced general dentistry in Dearborn for one year before returning back to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry to complete a three-year Graduate Periodontal Residency program.
Dr. Zheng Zhou graduated from West China University of Medical Sciences in 1991. After graduation, he completed his orthodontic specialty training and PhD degree from the same University. After Dr. Zhou moved United States, he complete a three-year Graduate Periodontics and Implant Dentistry Residency program at Medical College of Georgia, and received his Certificate in Periodontics.

Gingivitis is a type of gum disease that only affects the gums. The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) connects your lower jaw to the rest of your skull, allowing your mouth to move up and down as you chew or talk.

Awesome dental is the best orthodontist/dentist i have ever been to, i have been a patient since i was 15 I am now 21 and refuse to go to another office. Every time i come in they know exactly who i am, i can’t express how much they make you feel like family. They helped me when i fell on financial hardship, they ensured that we would figure out a solution and we did. I definitely recommend 10/10, thank you Awesome Dental!

This place is the worst dental place anyone could take their children to. I've only taken my child here 3 times and for those 3 times there has been nothing but problems. They never have her insurance correct, ID number is always wrong and not on file, and now I get a $300 bill?! For a regular cleaning for a 5 year old?! My adult dental cleaning is not even half that cost! I will never take her here again. The staff there are rude and unprofessional. Love this dentist office! I've been going since I was little, so about 17 years now and will not get my dental work done elsewhere!
I've gotten my teeth cleaned here twice a year, every year and my wisdom teeth removed as well.
Staff is extremely friendly, they remember my entire family whoe goes here as well by name. The staff makes going to the dentist a fun trip!

Extremely would not recommend. In the past three years My fiancé have had two root canals done and BOTH a couple months later had to go to a specialist due to rotting out canals because they missed a canal. Costed me three times the amount i payed there and having to redo the caps on both of his teeth. “Awesome”..

Dr. Halboth and staff are excellent and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Forget that they treat you like family and forget that they provide very personal service. Dr. Halboth is the best dentist I've had in my 57 years and has fixed many of the botched crowns my previous dentists have attempted. Everything fits great and even the cleanings are very thorough. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have been coming to Awesome Dental Care for over 30 yrs now, i wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Coming here is like family and I know that I will be taken good care of. Dr Halboth is an expert. And I love the Dental Hygienists, they always take their time to do their best. I love Awesome Dental Care and would highly recommend them
