The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend that children see a pediatric dentist by one year of age. Visiting a pediatric dentist near me by the first birthday enables the child to find a dental home and begin a lifelong of preventive dental care program to minimize tooth decay and cavities.
Pediatric dentists Fairfax VA can detect early tooth decay, provide parents with information on proper oral and facial development, and determine fluoride needs and more. For a child, a trip to the dentist is a trip into the unknown and can be frightening. Therefore, it is important to ease any stress they may feel with a warm, friendly environment and a staff who are acutely aware of the need to welcome children with warmth and smiles.

The best experience ever! They were so nice to my kids. Kids dont like to go to the dentist but after having gone to this dentistry they cant wait to come back. The experience doesnt depend on what procedure they are getting done but on how they are treated while getting it done. They sure know how to handle kids and even parents. Definitely would recommend going to dr sharif office and the staff just makes you feel so welcoming and that you are in good hands.

I was there for my daughter. Everybody’s very helpful and kind. They are really very professional. They had patients temperatures taken. Everybody were in masks and they had hand sanitizer throughout, following all COVID 19 protocols. My daughter is very happy with her doctor. Because she told all the steps of treatment to my daughter and she doesn’t have any concerns anymore and she’s so excited to start the Orthodontic treatment
